If you want to get a break from fried seafood, then Anjon's may be the answer. My suggestion is to go with the specials. Some in our group had the veal dishes and they were terrific. The rest of the group went with basic pastas and they were a disappointment. The sauce was ok, not great. Portions were great but... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Anjon's. Chicken piccata was delicious. My husband had the fettuccine and meatballs. Also excellent. Our waitperson was attentive and courteous. Even though the prices are a bit high, we will definitely return when we head back to Old Orchard Beach.

We grew up in Maine and have enjoyed Anjon's over the past 40+ years. While the food is usually excellent, our last visit yesterday was unfortunate. Our favorite dish, Baked Scallops, was fairly dry, chewy, and overall lacking in flavor. In addition, the fish chowder wasn't the usual wonderful treat we have come to expect. These two incidents may have... More

We went on a Tuesday evening and were seated promptly. Service was efficient. We ordered fried clams (excellent light batter), broiled scallops (lightly breaded), Anjon (chicken) Alfredo. All meals were excellent. We found the prices a bit higher than we normally pay, but at least the food was worth it! We had a nice view from the dining room of... More

Anjon's restaurant is excellent. Located off of busy Route 1, it is easy to access with ample parking. The Italian food is varied and plentiful. Service is responsive and efficient. Anjon's is a favorite dining venue for the greater Portland residents. Reservations should be made for the evening dinner meals.

Grew up in Maine. Went here over the years. Recently visited and unfortunately it has just gone downhill. Prices are inflated due to the location, but the quality of the food, service and decor are not keeping up. Some dishes and sauces are enjoyable, others taste reheated, prepackaged, and canned. It's unfortunate. Given the location and history it could be... More

When we're thinking about where to go, it often comes up as "hey, let's go to Anjon's". Just a relaxed, friendly place, lots of regulars, which is always a good sign, easy and ample parking, off by itself, not jammed in some commercial district, beside a wide and scenic salt marsh area. Good food.

We were on vacation and had decided to go out for dinner. We were on our way to Anjon's and a very heavy rain started to fall. We dashed like ducks to get out of the rain and into the restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly, it was around 5:15PM. They have a pretty nice menu. They have specials as... More
