Really good Thai food. Wait staff was terrific with great suggestions. I agree with another review that the fried bok Choy was fabulous. Would come back again.

This restaurant graciously sponsored a meal for the Miss Maine 2016 Pageant judges. Chef Pop and his staff made us feel right at home. The crab rangoon is so tasty! Chef Pop even fixed a special coconut dessert for us. I'd definitely return here for another meal.

The food was "AUTHENTIC" Thai. I found things on the menu I haven't found in other Thai restaurant in this area. The crispy baby bok Choy was out of this world!!! I'm so thankful the server suggested it. We also tried the grilled pork on the specials. I thought I was at home in Thailand. I couldn't believe how tender... More

This is not an upscale dining experience !... BUT a combination of great food, an attentive staff, reasonable prices... And some really great jazz background music make this our favorite Local Thai restaurant ... Hands down. While we only eat there for special times (we always have a bottle of wine and 3-4 courses) casual business diners should find this... More

We waited for a seat, no problem, then a somber, scary looking man nodded at me like something in the Sopranos. No smile just seated us and walked away. There we sat for over 20 minutes without one acknowledgment. Waiters walking by all the time with not so much a nod, smile or an "I'll be right with you". When... More

We were homeward bound on I-95, on New Year's Eve, and pulled off to satisfy our crying baby. Finding Cabela's closing (we were headed to their bathroom) we looked over and saw Thai 9. We like Thai food and try a lot of places. We walked in to find the elegant place almost empty (they'd just opened), and the waiter... More

Of the 3 Thai places in Scarborough, this was closest to my hotel, so here I am. Sandwiched between a pie place and a candy shop , I certainly didn't have my hopes up. Upon entering, I notice how modern and smart the decor was, and how small it is, just 7 tables. I ordered Pad Thai, while noting that... More

An unexpected pleasure for us. We stopped at Cabela's and the same shopping center has an awesome Thai restaurant. Service is very good, we met the owner who wanted to know how we liked everything. Liked it? We loved it! It was a very good duck dish that I had (the crispy basil leaves are a nice touch). My wife... More

My Husband and I enjoy thai cuisine. We have tried many thai restaurants in the Greater Portland area. Thai 9 in the Cabella's plaza is now on the TOP of our list. Our favorite dish is Pad Thai (noodle dish). Since I prepare my own pad thai at home, I feel competent to comment on the flavor and quality. We... More
