The crowds still line up, but the fried clams have gone downhill over the years. The portions are small: A pint is barely a pint for $18. You're paying $2 per clam, and they're no longer remarkable. I mourn the loss of what were the best fried clams around.

Pre- back-to-college final dinner....this place is amazing...we usually do not go when busy with summer folks as we are locals...but we needed a fried fish fix. And even so, we were there at 6:40pm on a very busy Thurs evening...got a table, inside and food was timely and cooked---to perfection! I cook, but I do not hold a candle when... More

The dining area is nothing special, but clean. The people behind the counter were friendly, but not much into details about the food. I had clams the last couple of times I was there. The first time I had breaded strips. The second time I had battered clams, which were whole clams. The clam strips in bread crumbs were excellent.... More

I recognize that this place is one of those fast food seafood fry ups in New England, so one is not eating 5 star, however I thought this place would be good for its class. It wasn't. Been there, done that. Won't be back.

I read reviews on line and we decided to give Ken's a try for take-out. We have enjoyed lobster rolls and other seafood at various restaurants in southern Maine during our vacation. Unfortunately, Ken's is not a restaurant we will return to. The lobster roll was mediocre and the fries were frozen and not hand cut as other places we... More

Always have our seafood at Ken's when we travel to Maine. We know it is always fresh and delicious! Love the seafood platter. They are a landmark in Scarborough, been there forever! And if you like fish, try their fried haddock ...and I can't forget their fresh lobster roll!

If you like Seafood, Ken's is the place to go. From Fried Clams to Lobster you'll love he food. Make sure you are hungry when you go so you can finish the large portions they serve.

If Ken's Place was not 25 minutes away, I would probably come every week. The fried clams are (and always have been) the very best around. We have ordered lobster rolls, chicken fingers, and scallops too, but it's the claims that keep me coming back. Call ahead for take-out as the place gets really packed.

We stopped here for lunch after the beach. The food was average for the area and the prices were reasonable. My husband had the steamers and was very happy. They were fresh and so yummy. The kids had fish and chips and were okay with them. The lobster roll was average. All in all, we would stop again.

Thank Stacy P
