After house hunting in the "boonies" and not being familiar with the area, we chanced on this restaurant. It was well after lunch and it did not appear to be busy as in full so in we went. First off one has to be impressed with the cheerfulness of the staff!! Then you have to be impressed with the flow... More

Excellent fish chowder and fried haddock sandwiches in a neat and clean setting. Quick take-out or plenty of space to eat in. Family friendly.

We were very sad when we had heard that Lords Harborside in Wells ME had closed. We were fortunate to stumble across their new business as a takeout restaurant in Sanford ME. They have continued many of the original restaurant's dishes in a takeout or quick dine in form. The restaurant is obsessively clean and neat. The staff are very... More

Lord's Clam Box is one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. We've eaten there several times and the food has always been the best. You order at the counter, then pick up your food when it's done. Always in a timely manner and always delicious. It's better than one of the seafood restaurants in Wells that everyone raves... More

I enjoyed the seafood dinner but it was really pricy for what I ordered. I would go again however as the food is good

We visit Lord occasionally. We enjoy the clam chowder and the seafood platter. I must say that the clam chowder is the best we ever had. Although when they first open they literally have whole clams in it. Now just chucks of clams. It's still very good but I missed the whole clams. There was one time the clam chowder... More

My husband and I have eaten at Lord's several times. The food is always good. I think their cole slaw could be fresher and their tartar sauce maybe not so sweet, but we really do enjoy the seafood here.

Enjoyed my lunch of fresh scallops and grilled chicken salad. Fast and tasty but you have to order at the counter and thank goodness they had paper menu--hard to read menu board.

We were looking for a place for a late lunch while exploring this area of Maine. Saw this bright cheerful building which advertised seafood which I was craving. Glad we stopped. It's a bright clean cheerful space where you order from the counter. There's so much variety on the menu that we sat down to see the possibilites....there's fried and... More

Bright, clean, well kept restaurant. Friendly staff. Large menu with many choices. Good lobster roll. Good fried clams. Clams were not exactly large, but were good and not overly cooked. Giant order of onion rings, very crisp and perfectly fried. We look forward to our next visit. Prices were fair for the quality and amount of food served.
