The Cockpit Cafe is a step back in time to just after WWII with all types of WWII memorabilia displayed. Quaint and fun! They serve the best breakfast in town and the bonus is watching the planes fly in and take off. GREAT spot!

I've been stopping here for more than 25 years. I don't want to say how great it is because then everyone will know....and lines on the weekends will be longer! Delicious huge pancakes, fluffy scrambled eggs, grilled English muffins, homemade corned beef hash better than anything you have tried before. They don't take debit/credit cards. The view? Planes flying in... More

Took me back to travel with "Eagle" who wanted to stop and inspect every local airport. Watched the first Bush land here and helicopter over to Walkers Point. Second Bush secret service detail ate here and diverted Bush to Pease Air Force Base. Get the eggs benedict. Really good.

I go here semi regularly, And the food is mostly very good, I'd say its a bit pricey tho. Their homemade corned beef hash is great if you like 90% meat, 10% taters. I like about 50/50 but recommended.

The place was really nicely appointed with any and everything to do with flying. Even the ceiling was painted like the sky. Large menu consisting of many choices. I'm always happy to see homemade toast on the menu, and they were serving it. Plus they had a Gluten Free menu. 6 of us were all very happy with our meals.... More

Cute place at small airport. Mostly locals. Delicious lobster benedict. Generous portions! Friendly waitstaff. Check hours - only open for breakfast and lunch. Cash only.

Very local following but being at the airport in Sanford (small airport where the Bush's flew in and out of) it has a certain ambiance . The food is a good value for the money. Staff polite but business like, but very accommodating. Would recommend for families with small children as the decor is aeronautical/military and the airport is busy... More

We (7 of us) went to try the breakfast here on the 4th of July. We were both hoping they were open (they were) and that the wait to seat 7 people was not going to "forever" (it was around 10 minutes- all very impressive). Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. The kids enjoyed seeing the planes and the adults enjoyed looking... More

Aviation theme at the airport with neat stuff to look at while waiting. Most items were better than other breakfast places. Not the cheapest, but best non-buffet breakfast in recent memory. Excellent pancakes! Large but tasty, not thick or cake-like. Real good house-made hash, costs a bit more.

Thank mandmma
