Off the hotel lobby in this beautifully restored century old armory, the selections and attention from our knowledgeable server were greatly appreciated following an all day drive from home. Freshest, closest grown ingredients and drinks prepared exactly as requested made our meal in the semi formal dining room even more memorable.

It's located in the Regency Hotel, and we went here after a Sunday night graduation at Merrill Auditorium. They were nice enough to stay open for our party of 8 and I think if we hadn't been there, they probably would've been closed, which is unfortunate because the food is good. The host and our server were very friendly and... More

This place is in the cellar of the Regency Hotel, not where you would want to go on a beautiful summer day but nighttime is good for a drink - espresso martinis are the best! I've had lunch here also and the food is good but nothing memorable.

My husband and I enjoyed an early, pre-theater dinner at Twenty Milk St. last week. We enjoyed the very upscale atmosphere at this luxury hotel. Since we arrived at 5PM, we were the only guests and were treated royally by the very friendly waiter. He delivered our meal promptly so that we could get to the theater on time. We... More

The room is in the hotel, complete with a fire place and nice decor. The service was warm and efficient, the food well prepared and graciously served..

I purchased the bed & breakfast package. I enjoyed my breakfast - two eggs over-easy, Canadian bacon, wheat toast, and orange juice. The pieces of toast were large and they were not skimpy on the bacon. The server was very pleasant and attentive. There is a fireplace in the dining room. Unfortunately it was being serviced and I did not have... More

Everything very good and cooked to order, staff is friendly and can,t do enough for you. I had the special omelette of the day, nicely prepared and presented. My husband had the Maine blueberry pancakes, they couldn't have fit another berry in there if they wanted. Very nice.

We visited here on a Saturday night. They were happy to let us make a same day reservation. Everyone as we entered the hotel and restaurant was friendly and attentive. However, after we were seated the service provided by our waiter was terrible. Our waiter never once asked how anyone at our table was or how we liked our food... More

Very quaint and quite place. There was a gentleman playing soft music on a piano, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The waitress was very good and added many suggestions for us. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. A great place for a romantic dinner.

We needed to get out of the house for the weekend so booked a package at the Regency with dinner and breakfast included. Yes, we know Portland has so many great options, but with a winter storm, this was easy and 20 Milk St still has a good reputation. For dinner, we started with a great roasted Brussels sprouts app,... More
