we got a small order of fries because it is still a good amount, but wish we would have a large because they were so good. We also had a Panino which was excellent.

If you like family-style seating, go for it. Duckfat is definitely worth a try. We were mislead by the description and assumed that this was a very americanized, fast food. Turns out the service is quick, but the menu is much more limited than we had thought. The ingredients they use are great/fresh, but the menu may not be for... More

The name alone had me interested, and the food did not disappoint. Probably the best poutine I've ever had. Good selection of beer - not a lot of them, but the ones they have are good ones. Very casual and busy, but service was friendly, efficient and professional.

We arrived at 2 pm and waited less than 20 minutes. We were seated at the bar. The server was very nice. Of course we had their fries. I thought they were very good! We both had sandwiches. Both liked our choices. It's a very small restaurant. I would love to try other times on their menu!

We went at what we thought would be off hours, about 2PM, boy was that wrong, there was an hour wait to sit & people all over the sidewalk waiting. We did take out and brought the food to a scenic spot next to the harbor, so worked out quite well. Sandwiches and fries were very good, but I wouldn't... More

Very small and as a result, very long wait. The wait for lunch was 45 minutes. On paper, everything on the menu sounds good. Not so much upon arrival. The fries were soggy, not crisp as other duck fat fries we've had. The shake was average. The panini was ok. The server made a big deal about the wine I... More

After waiting for a long time and sitting at the bar, we were excited to order a lot of food. We found the sandwiches and fries to be a bit greasy. The creamy milkshake was too creamy -- which I didn't know was possible. It is a popular place but not my taste.

We liked Duckfat mainly for its great fries. The shakes and panini were good but not fabulous. Our server was excellent and had a fun personality that make the visit memorable. It's a small place so overall we felt that Duckfat is worth a visit as long as you don't have a long wait.

Just visited for the first time after trying to unsuccesfully get in twice before. Food was delicious, eclectic, and wholesome on the limited menu. Hand crafted soda's were exceptional. They did not have many kid friendly food items and was a bit on the pricey side. Would visit again sans kids!

Expect a long line, but the food is amazing. They need a much bigger place, as it is very small and cramped inside. There is limited outside seating if weather permits, but either way, you will have to share a table with strangers if you are coming solo or as a couple. If we had more time in town, we... More
