This restaurant is a place where we try to bring everyone that comes to visit. It is busy so we try to come early for lunch and dinner. The food is always amazing and they have good gluten free options!

We ate here 3 times, partly because it was so good and partly because it was impossible to get into other places. The fries are fried in duck fat (duh) and are a meal all by themselves. They are fantastic - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly pre-salted. I favor the curry mayo among the mayo... More

My sister and I had read the reviews of this place and knew we couldn't leave Portland on our visit without stopping in. We had just had dinner at Portland Lobster Co. and were disappointed. Somehow, we managed to fit in shakes and an order of the french fries. All I can say is wow...this was absolutely worth the trek... More

Everything is cooked in duck fat, which by definition makes it so good! It's small, so expect a wait to get a table. There's not a lot of elbow room, but everyone flows with it and seems good. The fries really are the best. The sandwiches are also good and their milkshakes are thick and tasty. You can also get... More

My husband and I had a nice lunch here. It was a little too "foodie" for him although he LOVED the coffee milkshake as did I! I thought the fries were great--his sandwich was ok--I wasn't in love with it. My salad was decent but not amazing--maybe a little salty. I did think the quality of the ingredients was good-some... We went here after going to the Shipyard Brewery. Get the Poutine fully loaded with duck and egg. That is all. Seriously, just get that.

You have to order the fries! The dips to go with the fries are fantastic. What we didn't know was that the shakes are out of this world! Don't leave without trying a shake or a fresh drink with your meal!

Duckfat is good but in my opinion not worth more than a 20-30 minute wait. My fiancé and I went around 4:45pm (as we heard wait times were long) and waited about 15 minutes. I ordered a blueberry shake, which was my favorite part of the meal and the tomato & mozzarella panini. He ordered a grape soda and the... More

Duckfat food is amazing and delicious but you are gonna have to wait. However, believe me when I tell you that the wait is worth it. The kale duck salad it's out of this world. Here is a tip to eat in this place. Go there about an hour before you are planning to eat. Put your name in the... More
