We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed a warm seat in front of the fireplace. My partner ordered a burger and chick pea salad and I had Jameson honey wings so we didn't experience the menu extensively but what we had was very good. The food is very tasty with many creative options. There is also seating upstairs away from... More

Was walking by and their menu took my fancy. I had their swordfish and it was delicious, portion was a little smaller than I expected but I wasn't bothered. I had a glass of the Chardonnay and couldn't stop at one, very very nice, have drunk wine all over the world, the Chardonnay they serve is one of my favs!

Well, we were disappointed AGAIN! Had a terrible meal, well my 8 year old daughter did. She ordered the kids bowl of pasta with just butter. It came out with cheese on it (sad replacement for Mac and Cheese). She would have just eaten it but the pasta was NOT cooked. We sent it back. Second dish comes out, pasta... More

We arrived on a Saturday with no reservations for a table of 15. They took us in and the waitress did an excellent job for such short notice. They were out of steaks but the Food was excellent and the service was great.

Last visit here was over 2 years ago. This time we returned for a surprise birthday party for a good friend. We had called ahead and had a space held for our small group of about 16. Space was reserved for us in the upstairs back bar area on a January Saturday night. We arrived at 8:30 PM and went... More

Sunday night we went to Ri Ra to hear some traditional Irish music which was very good with a family friendly feel to the session. Monday morning they open for breakfast at 10:00 so we went back for some very good food and a friendly staff. Would go back there any time you are in Portland.

i liked the atmosphere here but wouldn't go back to eat with the kids. the food was fine but it took a really long time and with two kids that does not work. there was not alot of seating either although we didn't have a problem because we went before the dinner rush.

We went here twice, and we have mixed reviews. Once we ate a fantastic breakfast with Irish coffee by the fireplace in the downstairs bar section. The toasted banana bread peanut butter dish was interesting and very good (and too hearty to finish). We peeked at the upstairs restaurant after breakfast and we were intrigued by the lovely, nautical look.... More

After viewing Dinosaurs Alive at the Portland Science Center we went to Ri Ra for lunch. We were not disappointed but impressed as we were expecting everyday pub grub. Starting with wings in the Guinness bbq sauce and crostini with avocado and pickled onions, both delicious. Two of us had the turducken sandwich and they were a home run. The... More
