We had stopped here for a beer one evening a few weeks ago and returned here again on the final night of a long driving trip in the area. Smart of the management to turn the speakers out towards the street because as you are walking down the main drag you hear the great music and it draws you into... More

This was all about not leaving Maine before I ate my very first lobster! A local recommended this restaurant to us and we weren't disappointed! Mostly outdoor eating on the pier. Beautiful day, lots of people as soon as the doors opened. My whole lobster delivered my expectations! Great atmosphere, prices, and friendly people to explain the menu.

When we arrived in Portland, we wanted one last lobster roll experience before our New England trip came to an end. However, it was not what we were expecting and really should have had crab instead. The lobster roll was just a dry chunk of lobster inside bread. No flavour. No special sauce or anything. It was just dry and... More

Delicious lobster and lobster roll! Live music and great beer on the deck. It was a great experience overall. Recommended!

Can 't miss this place, right on commercial. usually a line. Worth it. You order first, then, get a table, and when your buzzer goes off you go to a pickup window for your meal. First time looks a little crazy, but worth it. Usually have a live band playing in the evenings. I had the twin lobsters. Very good,... More

Everything was so good we went back again! Loved the outdoor seating area and the view of the harbor. Facilities are very clean. They use a cute pager system (pagers look like lobsters of course) to alert you when orders are ready and the food is hot and oh so FRESH. The portions are generous and while we did not... More

My wife and I walked over with the lobsters we caught on the Lucky Catch cruise. They were cooked for us and we got corn on the cob, cole slaw and French fries for $10. We thought it was funny watching a lady feeding her dog lobster at the table next to us. Great atmosphere. We would recommend.

We went to Portland Lobster Co in the summer and it was extremely busy. Once you get over the chaos of all the people, you realize that it's a 'serve yourself' style of restaurant where you place your order, then go and sit down, and they page you to go pick up your food. The restaurant is outdoors right by... More

We went on a lobster cruise with Lucky Catch Cruises (highly recommend), and purchased our lobster from their boat. They have a deal with Portland Lobster Co. where PLC will cook your lobster and provide a few sides for $10. You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal on a lobster meal. Would rate 5 stars because the food... More

We loved this place. The weather was perfect so that helped, but it was fun to sit outside and listen to live music, eat a lobster roll and drink some beer. We had a fun time just taking in the scenery.
