I come here whenever I'm in Portland. Awesome staff, super friendly. My company has annual conferences at the Regency next door and during breaks, everyone bypasses the brought corporate brand (you know who I mean) and makes a beeline to the Crooked Mile.

Walking through town, we noticed the sign that said to try the iced almond coffee. Service was good, quaint little place. Iced coffee was excellent. Good luck! They also serve sandwiches that sounded good, but we did not try.

The Crooked Mile had a variety of choices. A very similar menu to another restaurant down the street. My Fiesta Salad was tasty, however, the prices were high.

This is a lunch spot for Portland's office workers. At times people are lined out the door. They serve sandwiches and salads. I've only had salads here, they're good, the usual.

Fresh, good ingredients, and interesting combinations, make this a great choice for lunch. A mixture of local office workers and workmen attest to its popularity. Very friendly staff with the requisite tattoos and beanies. Excellent choice among many very good choices in a foodie city.

The Crooked Mile Cafe on Milk Street in Old Port is a little gem of a place. Friendly staff, nice selection of breakfast, lunch and snack fare (soups, salads, sandwiches), great coffees, teas, etc. Closed weekends. Great spot to take a load off your feet and re-charge.

Found it by accident and blown away by everything. The salads were the freshest. Coffees were great. The staff were among the friendliest people encountered by wait staff. They answered all questions. Very reasonable and they make a special effort to accommodate patrons. They said that they were closed on the weekends (why??) so I could not make a return... More

We were in a hurry and stopped in for breakfast - ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, and meat on a croissant. Simple, but so tasty and delicious! Cute corner restaurant with comfortable wood furnishings, and reasonably priced as well. Would definitely stop back!

What a disappointment. Mistakenly thought I was going to get some sort of specialty sandwich when I ordered the turkey, cheddar, pesto for $8.10. For that kind of money, anywhere else in the City for a decent sandwich is probably an option - though I highly recommend The Works Bakery. Must be that scantily spread pesto that warrants the price... More

I stopped in for an americano and breakfast sandwich. I got a microwaved egg on my breakfast sandwich and am pretty sure my americano was not made with espresso. Cool atmosphere but not impressed with the food/drink.
