Been here several times. Great views, excellent food, and a variety of beers on tap. From Local Micro-brews to the true Irish pint (Guinness or Murphy's), you bound to find something to fancy your pallet/ And you'll be able to relax while you listen the...the great sounds of a true Irish band playing in the background. And if you need function space, no worries mate. They've got that too.More

So my wife and I really like the atmosphere especially upstairs by the windows. You can watch what's happening on the street, have a good beer and the fish and chips is delicious. Never had bad service and I eat here quite a bit. Hard...to be Bull Feeney's.More

There's a reason I visit Bull Feeney's EVERY time I go to the Old Port in Portland Maine, Irish whiskey. Having worked in an Irish bar for many years, I had many drams of the smooth and perfect liquid export. And that's not all. It's...a welcome reminder of the atmosphere's experienced on my extensive trip throughout Ireland and the home town of my Grand Father, Mohill,County Leitrim. Being a Sunday, there was an Irish Seisiún playing Trad, perfect for the full Embrace. The Scotch Egg was perfectly cooked and tasty. The drink..? Well, the best selection around.More

Sooooo good. Stopped in for a whiskey and Jeff, the bartender, knew so much about every whiskey. Made great suggestions and was super nice. Great atmosphere and live music nearly every night - people were really into it. Excellent pub.

I am trying to eat outside of the box.....I had the Scotch Egg, which was delicious! The atmosphere was comforting. If you are looking for Irish food while in the Portland area, please stop in.

Authentic place as if I were back in Ireland. The food and service was great. I had the charcuterie board and it was very tasty. Beer was new to me, the selection. A must go place! Very friendly. Music legit!

Great selection at the bar. We stopped in to warm up and have a pint. Seems like a popular spot. Watched the bartender pour pint after pint of Guinness the right way. Food smelled good, and service at the bar was quick.

This restaurant is in a great location in Old Port and has the look of a classic steakhouse with lots of exposed brick, archways and dark wood. The menu is small and unexciting, one would expect a lot more seafood options from a coastal Maine...restaurant that has 'seafood' painted so prominently on the sign outside. My husband and I shared the Irish nachos with chili. These were tasty but the presentation was confusing and not good for sharing as the chili was in a small dip cup under a pile of the chips instead of a topping. We were halfway through the dish before we discovered it and had to take turns dipping our chips. I had the lobster roll and he had the fish and chips, both of which were overpriced for the portion size and quality. Drink selections were very good! We waited 30 minutes after our plates were cleared with no offer of dessert or check before I flagged down another server and asked her to check on it. There are tons of restaurants in the area, I wouldn't go back to this one.More

Located in a historic building near the Portland waterfront this place has history literally written on the walls. Along with the great atmosphere you'll also find great food and drink. We recommend the corned beef as it was incredibly tender and delicious plus they have...a large selection of craft beer. Another item that deserves mention was the waiter who was fast and friendly.More
