Everything large and small is done well. Bayside American Cafe is only different from Bintliff's (former name) in name. Same owners, same amazing quality food, good coffee, good service. Ate there with a friend recently. Had eggs Florentine Benedict with bacon. Perfectly cooked eggs to order, toast perfectly golden, potatoes evenly and nicely cooked. Coffee refilled frequently. It's a treat... More

Just had an awesome breakfast at Bayside! The bread is out of this world! I had the classic eggs/potatoes/bacon and it was delicious. Not to mention my mimosa was huge and strong! I definitely recommend It!

We walked here from our Old Port hotel for breakfast because I had seen some good reviews. The numerous signs behind the restaurant about no loitering and no drug use should have been a clue as to what was coming. We took 2 steps into the cafe and immediately turned around and left. One man was passed out at a... More

Best corned beef hash I've ever eaten! Great menu, attentive service, nice unpretentious atmosphere.

We have had breakfast at the Bayside every morning that we are in town. The Eggs Benedict are my favorite. They are perfectly prepared and ever so delicious. The pancakes are also a very nice, sweet treat. Light and with blueberries... perfect. The omelets were also loved by all. Great service in a very nice restaurant with a homey feeling.

This is a great place for breakfast. No reservations are taken so must be willing to wait to be seated. The restaurant is in a small converted two story house with cozy warm new England feel. The host was pleasant and takes down your name on a clipboard. We had a seat on the second floor by the window. The... More

It was good. Don't get me wrong. The place is cute but please note that the main dining room is upstairs. Very small place but cute. Staff is super friendly and attentive. I had an omelet with spinach, bacon, and cheese. It was good but the bacon was not crispy. The toast is GIANT. Very thick. The size made it... More

Despite the rave reviews, my husband and I were underwhelmed by the breakfast that we had here. Both the Crab Cakes Benedict and the Corned Beef Hash side were only average and the Blueberry pancakes were gummy, as was the Cinnamon bun pancake.

The name was recently changed from Bintliff's to Bayside. There have been the same owners since 2003. We had a good lunch experience here with 2 exceptions: 1) parking is very difficult and we ended up on the street about a 10 minute walk away; 2) we arrived at 12:50 and were seated at 1:25 after being told there was... Absolutely Fabulous!! We asked the guy at the car counter where to go and he suggested Bayside. Oh he was soooo right!! I had the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict and I will say - I eat crab cakes all the time and this was the BEST crab cake I've had. My husband had the corn beef hash with an egg... More
