The lobster roll is to die for the oyster roll is also awesome. This place is a must on your trip to Portland. We hit it up each year. You can't go wrong here! Show up right at 11 (a little before) to avoid the line and get right in. Also the chips with dip are soooo tasty!

Delicious. Creative. Fresh. Three of us shared everything, starting with lobster rolls, a dozen oysters with horseradish and mignonette, followed by a tuna crudo, a lovely halibut ceviche, and a perfect on a plate snapper crudo with a beautiful sweet corn and citrus finish. A crab roll thrown in for good measure, and some delicious Picpoul and Muscadet, and you... More

The Peekytoe crab roll was my favorite - so sweet and delicious. The browned butter lobster roll was also very good but rich. The only thing we didn't like were the fried oysters. There was way too much breading. so much so that you didn't know you were eating oysters by the taste.

Only reason I came here is because I had a $100 gift certificate. I got a local heffeweizen which was way too sweet and wasn't very good. We ordered the ceviche, toro, lobster roll and a dozen oysters and left hungry. The portions are tiny. The ceviche was so bland and had absolutely no flavor no citrusy sour delicious flavor,... We didn't realize how fortunate we were to arrive 10 minutes before opening on Saturday, until we tried to return the following Saturday an hour later. The restaurant is fun with lots of personalities. We enjoyed the shuckers and bar staff. The oysters and lobster rolls were delicious. The menu has originality and we loved it.

As the name suggests, you go here for the oysters. The oysters are beautifully presented, fresh, and free of grit. The buttermilk fried chicken and the blueberry pie, on the other hand, were not good. The fried chicken was heavy on the breading and light on the meat and over-fried too. The pie did not do justice to those blueberries... More

First you will have to wait for a table - but it is worth it! Lunch is not as long a wait as dinner. Oysters are their speciality but try the lobster stew. Much better than a lobster roll anywhere in Maine! The Scallop crudo was probably the best composed dish of anything I have tried in the last year!... More

Wonderfully fresh selection of local oysters and other fish dishes; will have to wait for a table, but worth it.

Wish we could have eaten here. We were told this was an excellent restaurant. Too many people and we couldn't get in. We were told to try to go early to get a table

Thank John N
