If my review started with words like "dive" "overpriced" "inconveniently located" and "surly staff" you'd probably run away as fast as you could. Right? DON'T Make a beeline to Fishermen's Grill as fast as you can. This is hands down the heavyweight champion of lobster rolls. My visit today was less a lunch destination and more of a Lobster pilgrimage.... More

A stop on the lobster roll trail, we found this place and had to go. We got there and split a lobster roll and order of scallops. Lobster roll 5/5. The scallops....HOLY MOLY! They were so good! Small Place, four tables, cool vibe. A must stop for seafood!!

My wife, daughter, and I went her just for lobster rolls. Seemed expensive - $80 for three med-sized rolls and 2 drinks - but I just had another in NYC at a reputable place for about the same price, 1/2 the size, and not nearly as good. Seriously almost too much lobster but it was very fresh and flavorful. And... More

Awesome food! Super fast! The lobster roll was excellent! Next time I will order the biggest one and ask for a second bun ($1.00) to share with my husband. Our son's each got different meals and each enjoyed their as well. We weren't going to go in once we saw the place, but read the reviews that said how great... More

Unbelievable how delicious this place is! Heavenly! Lobster roll was the best we ever had. Absolutely stunning! We had the haddock dinner and it was AMAZING! It's cash (and local checks only), with no ATM, but come prepared! Even the boys loved the fish and they don't care for fish. This place may not look special from the outside, but... More

Really delicious food. We had the grilled scallops and the clam chowder and both were great! The other people dining there were really friendly too and helped us out with some suggestions for our road trip. Portand was really enjoyable :)

Driving back to MA from northern Maine, my boyfriend and I decided to grab a lobster roll in Portland. After some online research, we stumbled upon the Fishermen's Grill. Had I not read the great reviews, we probably would have kept on driving based on the appearance of this place. SO glad we stayed! Arrived right at 12 and there... More

One of the best if not the best lobster roll I have ever had and by far the best clam chowder I have had. Yes, it is expensive, but it was worth it! The fried clams were amazing also. For 2 lobster rolls, fried clams, clam chowder and drinks it was $120 to give you an idea on price. As... More

I had pretty high expectations of this place, seeing all of the good reviews from tripadvisor and beyond; however, I left this place a bit disappointing and wanting more. Don't get me wrong, the food was fresh and tasty, but the prices were a bit steep. Tap water is not available, but water is available for purchase. Limited seating outside.... More

Our flight arrived from New York a bit after noon and we immediately set out for the Grill based on reviews and recommendations from friends. It's a bit tucked on the side of the road and can be very easy to miss. Place looked inconspicuous enough... at first we thought it was closed.. and it actually was with a sign... More
