growing up in San Diego, I visited Italian stores/delis every Friday, I did not realize how much i missed that smell until I opened the door to this store! we purchased several pastas, cheeses, vinegar and the pizza and cannoli were especially fabulous! I look forward to my next trip to Portland, this will be both my first and last... More

We stumble upon Micucci's and fell in love! We feel like you walked into Italy (or at least Boston or NYC!) The smells, the sights - all was perfect! It was hard to decide what to buy because everything looked so good!

Found this place from TA reviews. Even though I was on vacation, I felt like a local, due to reading the reviews and knowing the pizza is served in the back and you get yourself a drink from the front of the store. I led my family in the store, grabbed some cans of soda and water, went to the... More

Went here on October 23, 2015 just after 3:30pm. We couldn't wait to get to Portland and make Miccucci's our first stop. We walked through the door right next to the deli. We said hello to the young guy behind the counter. We have never encountered anyone so rude. We literally felt so uncomfortable, we immediately around turned and walked... More

We had never been to Portland and going to local specialized grocery stores is always high on our to do list. Micucci's had a wonderful selection of pastas, spices and sauces. There is a second level that had larger quantity grocery items. Tucked in the corner was a small area where pizza slices were sold. On Monday, their special is... More

Enjoyed each morning during my stay a warm pastry (they bring them out freshly baked around 9:30am) with a coffee. Later in the day you have a choice between several pizze. The Sicilian slab at $4.99 is excellent and large Some desserts are also available. Try the cake truffles, wonderful. This is basically an Italian grocery shop and deli. Upstairs... More

Pizza is always excellent, and anything Italian that you can't find somewhere else, can be found here. Great selection.

We stopped to take out some Italian Bread and Ravioli to prepare later in the evening. The bread was very doughy, and not the Italian bread that we were familiar with in the NYC area. Ravioli was OK, but not the best we have tasted. Will most likely not stop in again.

If you visit here you must get a Sicilian slab. Thick fresh dough, light sauce and spices, and light cheese. Very filling and delicious!
