Micucci grocery is a wonderful store just on the way out of town but easy to walk to from most parts of Portland. We stopped by hoping for pizza around 4pm and we're lucky enough to get the last 2 slices - as others have said one slab is enough for two people. But everyone loves cold pizza the next... More

Hidden at the back of this lovely grocery store is a self serve kitchen with huge slabs of pizza! There was a BOGOF offer on when we visited, but one slab was big and thick enough for two of us to share. Great for grabbing and heading back to your hotel with. Their whoopie pies were delicious too, and the... More

This is a place to obtain some delicious and inexpensive food on the run. Their Sicilian is outstanding, Scofiatelle are great with a cup of coffee in the morning and the delicious tiramisu is a wonderful dessert to take home. Great selection of Italian groceries, baked good and wines.

While living in Ocean Park spring through fall. I visit Micucci's at least once a week. I love Miccucci's!!! The foods are great as are the selection of wines & groceries. Spectacular. Take home a loaf of unsliced italian bread, best I've ever had. Try a muffuletta sub try it all. Finally the owner & staff are exceptionally knowledgeable &... More

This is where you can get the original slab! If there is a line, it's worth the wait. Also check out the wonderful products on the shelves - most you purchase anywhere else in Maine! I love trying a new product each time I go!

Wow, we love this place. We've only been here in the morning, to insure a slab, but it is sublime! I'm sure everything else is as good, how could it not be! Did I mention sublime? We can barely get it into the car without tearing into it! You can sit in front and watch people scurry in and emerge... More

The only way to satisfy the late afternoon hunger pangs was pizza -- and the pizza at Micucci Grocery met the challenge. Very good Sicilian, with a light crust and the right amount of sauce and cheese. Modestly priced. Well worth the stop.

Lots to choose from at this little grocery. Homemade slabs of pizza, take and heat servings of lasagna and other pasta, and a full deli counter for fresh sliced Italian meats and cheese. Worked out great as we were staying one block over at the Residence Inn and were able to stock up on quick eats to enjoy at the... More

This is binge worthy pizza. Mostly for take out but there's a tiny windowless alcove to eat in. Thick crust, cakey, lovely tomato sauce and some nice salty crunch to the dough. P.S. Freezes very well too. Solid north end worthy Italian deli and market too.

Great food! I wish they were located closer to where we live. If you are Portand, this is one place you don't want to miss.
