Fish tacos with fresh haddock. Good selection of unusual brews - knee-slapping Wednesday night live music by the Custom House Gang.

Stopped in off street when cruise ship came to Portland. Wanted to experience authentic Maine dishes and was overwhelmed at how good the food was! In house lobster roll, excellent. In house cole slaw probably the best I've ever eaten. Clam chowder rich and flavorful....In house wild blueberry pie - exceptional. Quiet atmosphere, friendly service. Enjoy real Maine here!More

My hubs and I are on out first vaca together since the pandemic, and we have sorely missed traveling and exploring new places. We opted to cruise up the Eastern Seaboard, and landed in Portland for the day. Andy's is on the main drag, but...the door is a bit hidden. What caught our attention was the sign for Premier League Saturdays and Sundays. We love our fútbol, and we love a good pub, and we especially love a great dining experience. Hubs ordered the Blueberry hard cider, which is delicious. We also ordered fish & chips, and clam cakes. I was so tempted to get breakfast (Irish Eggs Benedict), and they look exceptional. However, I didn't regret my claim cake at all. Plus we got a fried shrimp and jalapeño appetizer, which also was fantastic. I definitely recommend this establishment!More

Ten of us arrived Sunday afternoon for lunch after whale watching tour. Reviews were favorable and the menu had something for everyone. We were happy to get seating in the back room all for ourselves but despite lack of customers the service was very slow....There was one server and one cook who apparently was struggling that day. After the long wait, the pizza was completely burned to a crisp! I couldn’t believe anyone would actually try to serve what looked like a black frisbee with cheese on top…so we returned it. I should have taken a picture but I try to be kind to people working in restaurants and didn’t want to seem rude. The fish tacos were leftovers and the burgers were cold and bland. The beer could have been colder. We waited a long time for over priced unappetizing attempts and our server apologized and gave us our drinks for free. The bathroom floor was filthy and we all gulped down what we ordered and left very disappointed and confused that this place had such good reviews and ratings. Perhaps this is a good place for Friday and Saturday night live music and drinks but there are so many nearby restaurants with consistently good food even on Sundays.More

Great low key place with excellent food. Fortunate to catch some live music and enjoyed the fresh mussels, pulled pork, and quesadilla. Ella was amazing and the owner was super cool. 5 vibes!

We wandered in during a recent day in Portland and were blown away by the food. It is outstanding. One of our party had the lobster roll and exclaimed the best he ever had- and this man ahs eaten many lobsters in his 67 years....I had the pulled pork on grilled corn bread and it was superb. The food is extraordinary with a great craft beer selections. Prices are reasonable and staff engaging and friendly. Low key pub with great food. You should stop by when in Portland.More

Amazing food and attentive staff. Seafood is locally sourced and homemade items. We had Fish tacos, mac&cheese with lobster, haddock, clam chowder and amazing pie made with Maine blueberries. They also have a pool table in a back room. Definitely worth a visit.

Great food, served hot and very tasty breakfast. Clean, and tables well spaced. Don’t judge a book by its cover! Omelettes were yummy, toast homemade, and crispy hash as we specified!

We stopped into Andy’s for a Sunday lunch. The place was filling up. Service was slow. We ordered the chowder and a lobster roll. The setting is casual but authentic and fun. They offer live music in the evenings. The food was so-so. The lobster...roll was small and pricey. The chowder was better and clearly homemade. There are lots of choices along the docks; this was not our best choice.More

After eschewing a nearby $40 parking lot, our party of six entered an empty Andy's at 6 pm on a sunny weeknight when most other dining spots near the water were fully booked. The entryway was unprepossessing, and the interior décor was downscale. The menu...as sparse but the wait staff very pleasant and responsive. The Ruben and burger were fine , as was the shrimp scampi specialMore

Good atmosphere and location, but service at bar was really slow at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Only 2 other people at bar. I had the highest hopes for the food as it was recommended by hotel shuttle driver. Sadly, the New England clam chowder...was really thin and was only barely warm. The lobster roll sandwich was priced on average with other local restaurants, but didn't have much flavor. I had to ask for utensils to eat my coleslaw and for ice tea refills.More

Although there is no children's menu, Andy's has pizza, chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, veggie sticks and lots and lots of kid friendly foods. Andy's is a Pub, not a bar. Kids usually have a fun time at Andy's.
