Went for Oyster Happy Hour on a Tuesday afternoon. Their oysters were flavorful and succulent, also had deviled eggs two ways which were very tasty as well as fantastic Violet Fizz.

All I can say is that it is worth the wait. And I don't like waiting 45 minutes, which actually was about 30. We will go back in the morning time if time allows.

American home cooking leaning toward organic and natural. The "Hoppin' John Hash" was a good choice. Breakfast is also recommended. Price $30-40 for two adults. Excellent servers - Recommended !

I went for breakfast here, and found it to be one of the tiniest restaurants I've ever seen. It is so small, that parties of one cannot expect a table and will always be seated at the counter. I'm not a fan of eating at counters because I like to spread a newspaper out and read while I eat. However,... More

Be prepared for long waits for a table but absolutely worth it! I had the grilled cheese and soup and I couldn't decide which soup to have, the tomato or the chowder, so I had both. I think with only the one it wouldn't have been quite enough for a meal but the prices were very reasonable. The waffles are... More

Went for breakfast and had the sausage gravy over biscuits with two eggs. Gravy was perfect over a wonderful biscuit. Loved the home fries and the eggs were cooked exactly to order. Thanks for a wonderful breakfast and I can't wait to get back there!

I went for Saturday morning breakfast and it was delicious. I am a French Toast lover and it was some of the best I have ever had. The Geechie Grits were well liked by my husband. Early morning arrival a must to avoid long wait outside the door.

Came on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It's a small restaurant, so the wait was about 30 minutes for two, so we decided to stay and hope for the best. The estimate was right on and soon we were dining on a delicious breakfast! I would highly recommend the eggs scramble with huge pieces of bacon on top. Loved the... More

The best breakfast in Portland! Bring your appetite as well as your patience. We waited for over 45 mins for a table but it was well worth it!

Thank Anne W

The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
