When Hot Suppa first opened it was relatively easy to get a table and we frequently enjoyed breakfast or lunch at the restaurant. More recently, the wait times have become prohibitive and we have dined elsewhere. Yesterday was my birthday and I was determined to...More

This is the meal the do best. Southern style but with Portland touches. Great ingredients, well executed. Delicious. I had the corned beef egg on rye; Joanie had the eggs benedict. The specials looked delicious too. There will be a line, so come early.

Very small, popular crowded place. I had the best corned beef hash ever. Everything looked very good.

Attempted to get in for breakfast on a Sunday but encountered a wait of over an hour for two people. Decided to return the following day and were able to get right in. Fantastic wait staff and delicious breakfast.

Our Airbnb host recommended breakfast or brunch at Hot Suppa and it did not disappoint! We got seated immediately and the service was fast and friendly. The coffee was delicious. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and grits and the waffles with blueberry...More

We waited a long time to get our food but, when it came, it was delicious. Because of the delay, we were not changed for the food. I appreciated that.

Hot Suppa seems to be the new darling of Portland, but after a 30 minute wait, I found the food just average and the seating uncomfortable. Also, very pricey, my average Eggs Benedict was $15! Think I will stick to other less pricey places where...More

This restaurant must use same management as AC hotel. Terrible service. If you cannot remember an order, perhaps you should write it down. Long wait, bad location, poor food and service. Not sure why this place is rated so high?

A genuine taste of the South smack dab in the middle of my favorite Northeastern town. Every single thing I have ordered in three visits has been memorable: cocktails, apps and entrees...all delicious!

Parking is a challenge. There is no lot for the restaurant. Depending on what time I day we go for dinner, we often have found a spot out front, or may park on a side street. The restaurant is worth it, so we would even park... More

The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle,Pulled Pork Mac n' cheese, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
