We shared a scallop starter in order to do justice to the main course. The swordfish and lamb mains were both excellent . Rice pudding and chocolate cheesecake were very rich and tasty. Service was spot on.

We were really looking forward to our meal here. The reviews were so positive. No website had prices for their entrees. They are actually quite pricey, especially considering the portion size. I ordered the chicken skewer over Spanakorizo at $25 and my husband ordered the...More

One of our favorite restaurants is Zatinia in Washington, DC and we found that Emilitsa matches their inventive interpretation of traditional Greek recipes. We shared meze appetizers of taramasalata, fava, and a special of Dahl lentils, after which we shared the skewered swordfish entrée. All...More

Description
Emilitsa is a Greek restaurant located in the arts district of Portland, Maine and boasts a contemporary and casual atmosphere. Emilitsa brings a wide array of Mezethes (small plates), Megala Piata (large plates), and pristinely fresh seafood to the seacoast area. We honor the breadth of traditional cuisine from all regions of Greece. We prepare our Greek dishes with as many local, fresh, organic and natural ingredients as are available to us. We also accommodate those with food allergies.
