Emilitsa is a Greek restaurant located in the arts district of Portland, Maine and boasts a contemporary and casual atmosphere. Emilitsa brings a wide array of Mezethes (small plates), Megala Piata (large plates), and pristinely fresh seafood to the seacoast area. We honor the breadth of traditional cuisine from all regions of Greece. We prepare our Greek dishes with as many local, fresh, organic and natural ingredients as are available to us. We also accommodate those with food allergies.

And by that title I mean the food , the real deal Greek, is simple in that you can savor each ingredient. Not pretentious. Just the best use of local sources as well as what is imported from Greece. We have been hearing about Emilitsa...More

We enjoy Greek cuisine but have found it difficult to enjoy in New England - no longer. From typical tzatziki, moussaka, baclava and Greek wine to innovative beet salad and fish kabob, we loved every flavor and presentation. The staff were great, honor engaging and...More
