This is the one restaurant we went to in 12 days in Maine where it didn't look like they made an effort to cut down on tables, though we had one in the back of the dining room by the patio door and it was...OK on space back there. We found some nice white Italian and Rhone wines to try off the really great list. The oysters were all from Maine and delicious. We also had a salmon tartare along with the classic new England cloverleaf rolls with herbs and garlic butter that are so good. our main courses were haddock - prepared in a classic New England beurre blanc with chanterelles and turnips that were to die for, then we had a whole dorade also that was really good. The New England pudding was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Put Scales on your must visit list.More

Outside dining as we requested. The Salt Cod croquettes and raw oysters for starters with our drinks were great and we knew we were in for a real treat for our entrees. Seafood Stew for me and a side of broccolini with Fried Oysters for...my wife. Dinner was great. Service was good and attentive and compliant with Covid-19 restrictions. The space was suitable for social distancing and we felt completely comfortable with the situation we are living through. I would return here for dinner. It was very good.More

A terrific restaurant. Everything was very nice from the warm welcome by the maître d to our server. The grilled octopus was amazing. The squid was perfect. Highly recommend this fine dining venue. COVID19 precautions were well implemented

Our table outside was superb, but service and care were less than ideal. We posted a fine reference to their sister restaurant at Street and Co. yesterday, but tonight was disappointment. The venue is superb but if they can't manage service and food, I would...prefer Street and Co.More

My husband and I dined early on Saturday night. The food is wonderful and service was great. The Covid protocols all seem to be followed with the exception of the number of people in the restaurant. There were three rows of tables in the main...dining room with only every other booth kept vacant. It looked like a typical pre-Covid night. The bar was only partitioned off by a 1 foot plexiglass barrier. There were well over 50 people. We will not return during COVID.More
