Was staying at the Poland Spring Resort and needed a quick take-out after a long drive. Ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and it was ready in no time! The sandwich was really, really good - but the fries? To die for!! These...were the best fries I've had in a long time! Crunchy on the outside , slightly soft on the inside. Just perfect! We took a weekend getaway trip to Poland, Maine and we're looking for casual dining and a few drinks. The front desk staff at the Poland Springs Resort recommended Cyndi's Dockside. We sat at the upstairs bar, tended by Dan. The food and drinks were...great and the experience was made even better by the fantastic service and quick wit of the bartender. I started with the salted caramel martini and my husband got a Pumpkin Head and then upgraded it to a Drunken Pumpkin with some vanilla vodka. For his second, he added the caramel cinnamon sugar rim. Fantastic and festive fall drinks! To start, we had the tater kegs -- large tater tots filled with cheese and bacon. After a couple more drinks, friendly conversation with other patrons at the cozy bar, we ordered some pizzas. My husband got chicken Alfredo with Portabella mushroom and broccoli. I chose Alfredo, broccoli, and feta. Delicious! Everything was so good, we're back again for lunch today. I came to get the cranberry walnut chicken salad wrap with crispy bacon, but got distracted by homemade chili on some fries with cheese on top. Dan coined this chili cheese fries and they were great. My husband opted for the lobster roll which was fresh lobster meat and butter, no mayo. It's possibly the best item on menu. Everything was great. If I could give more than five stars, I would.More

Excellent food and service. Portions are adequate and food was delicious. Salmon was served with mashed potatoes and vegetable. Our friends had scallops, chicken tenders and lobster rolls.

Not sure what others experienced but all 4 people in my group ordered something different and we all had a bad experience. Chicken was not fresh, seems like they cooked it days ago and just heated it up. My knife wouldn’t even cut it. Seafood...pie had no taste, butternut squash had no flavor and very watery. Showing up with a large group at 8:00 on a Friday night is usually greeted with deep sighs and unhidden displeasure. Not here! They were taken off center for about 10 seconds, but quickly recovered and told us of an up-to wait time of 30...minutes. It took 15 at the most. Food came out quickly after ordering and was excellent!More

We ordered clam basket for 25 dollars and all we got in our box was a very few fried clams and nothing else not even fries it was not good for 25 dollars ery surprised as usually ok

Cyndy’s Dockside is the best Poland has to offer. The food is quality and the wait staff are well trained and never let you down. Cindy makes sure all staff are the best. My favorite is the baked haddock but there are many choices with...fresh salads.More

The food was excellent as was the service! My husband said the the clam chowder was the best he’s e ever had.

This place has a varied menu which changes seasonally and with indoor or outdoor dining. Staffing issues can effect wait times and menu choice availability(last visit,pizza was not available due to a lack of cooks) Food is very good. Staff is very friendly. Great location...on the lake.More

They are open on Monday’s! The staff was super friendly and spot on. Bartender told us they’d had a record breaking week in the history of Cyndi’s dockside existence. Today they were cranking out some awesome food. Fried clam appetizer was a meal in itself....They were whole and crunchy crispy not all thick with batter. Lobster roll didn’t disappoint . Haddock sandwich half a fillet. Real fries!!!More

When we're in the area at the Wolf Cove Inn, we always come here for at least one or two dinners. The service is nice, it's casual, not expensive and we always eat a good lobster roll and share a glass of wine. It's a...tradition and we were so happy to see it crowded with other diners....lovely spot.More

Cyndi's is just down the road from the Poland Spring Resort, where we stayed. Everything about Cyndi's was just absolutely fine -- good food, reasonable portions, excellent service. We phoned in advance to get put on the waiting list for a table -- that is...a good idea.More
