We went in the off season so no dining outside (Brrr!), but the staff was friendly and welcoming and the food yummy! We had fish sandwiches and fried clams, sweet potato fries and some interesting and fun soda from Australia!

The Lost Gull fish and chips has the best fried clams and onion rings around ! I wish they had fountain drinks instead of bottled beverages.

My wife and I stopped by this place over Columbus day weekend. We were renting a cabin in the area and on our way back from the casino we decided to grab some take out. We got an order of Maine Fried Clams and Haddock Box. The fried clams were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The haddock had plenty of... More

For such a small place they make the best friend clams I have had in along time. I would recommend trying them.

It's a tradition to eat at the Lost Gull when we visit family in Maine. I even take it as a treat for my grandmother in assisted living now that she's moved away from Oxford. Can't be beat!

Im telling you right now, this is the place for either the usual fried seafood (assortment) or their incredibly good caseroles. We try to always get some seafood when we're in ME no matter how short the stay. This particular time was only a few days. Found this gem online TA actually and now its our new fav spot. We... More

This favorite spot for locals falls somewhat short of our expectations. The reason is simple: they use too much bread crumbs on dinners! Regardless of whether you order scallops or shrimp, it's smothered in salty buttery bread crumbs. We suggest using larger shrimp also. Other dinners such as fish and chips provides great fish, but the batter used lacks flavor.... More

We are sorry that our restaurant fell short of your expectations. We like to let the taste of the seafood do all of the work as far as flavor of the food is concerned. Like other good seafood restaurants, we use a cracker based breading for the seafood, which tends to gain some volume when it is fried, but is... More

Now, to be fair, unless it's spoiled or excessively overcooked, it's hard to find a bad lobster roll anywhere, but some do standout a bit more than others when all is considered, and Erica's does! My husband and I were on a "best lobster roll" mission last week staying in Yarmouth ME. We had our first one from high rated... More
