We were here in August and went for lunch once. Very casual place, good food. Friendly atmosphere. We would have liked to be outside but it was full so we ate inside Located right on the corner of center of town.

Lovely little place in down town Ogunquit, with little personal fire pits to ward off the evening chill. You'll love Rose Cove for the great ambience but you'll come back for the great food...homemade hamburger buns oolala!

WE visited Rose Cove in search of a lobster roll and chowder. Although the restaurant came recommended by a local merchant, we found the food sub average with little taste and horrible presentation. The lobster roll was very small and not that tasty, similarly, the chowder was bland. We also had a Caesar salad which consisted of lettuce, pizza cheese... More

We are Ogunquit regulars and pride ourselves on trying new restaurants all the time. Amid the higher end restaurants in Ogunquit it's easy to overlook the Rose Cove -- but don't. it's a real gem and we have been told its where the locals go to eat. They make these homeade rolls for sandwiches that are the most perfect flaky... More

Outside tables not very comfortable if you have long legs, food was average, prices as well. The fresh halibut sandwich was pretty yummy

The week we were in Ogunquit it was extremely hot and humid. We just wanted to have a cool salad and found the perfect one at this restaurant. The Garden Salad had fresh vegetables (zucchini, summer squash, broccoli along with grapes, raspberries, blueberries). Dressing was nice and light. After our salad, we were offered a piece of their homemade fudge...perfect... More

We had just arrived for our family vacation and wanted something quick for lunch. The Rose Cove Cafe seemed perfect, had many good reviews, so we gave it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly. The service was friendly and efficient. There are plenty of tables inside and out on the front deck. The tables were wiped clean and... More

Ambience is nice with flame tables which I assume attract a lot of people to eat there like us but the food is less than desirable as all four of us were not impressed with our meals . Actually we had to find the meat in the burger roll as the roll was 5 times bigger! We also found the... More

We were lured in by a friendly young man offering samples of fudge. He seated us outside at a fire pit table right away. It was a perfect night for a fire and people watching. Great location! The food was ok. I had the scallops au gratin, it was good , my husband had the lobster roll on a bulky... More
