When the server started taking our order I first reacted with consternation when she said that they were out of prime rib medium rare (at 7:15!). But then she went on to say that if I wanted a cut more well done or an end...piece I could have that and I realized they were serving not the microwaved precut pieces I expected but rather cuts from a fresh roast ($26 for 14 oz--amazing). That gained my admiration and understanding. From that moment on I was delighted. I ended up having a lobster in cream sauce on pasta special which was absolutely wonderful in every respect. My wife had the filet which was likewise delicious. The onion soup was rich and intense and not too salty. We ate inside and the tables were socially distant spaced. The decor is charmingly colonial except for an extension in back which appears to be a closed in porch with all the charm of a Kinghts of Columbus function hall; try to get them to seat you in the main house and you'll be very happy. Old fashioned cocktail was excellent. Service was courteous and attentive. This was our first time here and we will definitely come back.More

Nice location. right across the street from our stay . Indoor seating was per guidelines. Soups & appitizers & drinks filled me up. BUT , needed the chicken parm entree & dessert to finish the dinner off. Alittle pricey , but well worth it !

We ate there recently. They have a new patio where the parking lot used to be - very large, with tables well-spaced. The food is as good as always, and the people are friendly. There is live music several nights a week; at least Thurs-Sat,...maybe more. The music is good but not overpowering. Everyone is in face masks or shields, and they're doing a good job. Definitely worth a visit! There's even an entrance to the patio from the next door municipal parking lot, so you can avoid people on the street if you care to.More

We had our date night dinner on our last night at Ogunquit. Lobster bisque was thinner than some -- you couldn't stand a spoon in it -- but it was some of the richest and packed with lobster flavor of any I've had. My wife...said her duck breast was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked -- in a word, perfect. Ditto my prime rib. The server was awesome, very attentive despite how busy she was. We dined outside, and my wife got a little chilly -- the server offered her a shawl. Live music with a guitar/singer brought a nice ambience to the whole thing. There are a lot of restaurants in Ogunquit that we like; this is the first one I've liked enough to write a review about. Would definitely return on a future trip.More

My wife and I went to Ogunquit for the 4th of July and knew we had to go to OVI and have some food and drinks. The server/bartender Dean was awesome as usual and the French Dip sandwich and fried shrimp were out of bounds...killer GOOD!! Thank you again for your great service and food and drinks! Will be back every trip to Ogunquit for sure.More

My family and I spend time every year for over 30 years now in Ogunquit and in Wells, Maine. My wife and I took off on a get away trip to the beach and tried OVI. This hidden gem is so quaint with its old...town feel and excellent comforting vibes. It is a great place to get out of the sun and have something delicious and affordable to eat and drink. The service from the bartender(whom seems to work like three people) at our little table was spot on and it was so nice to sit in a cozy atmosphere with a fun feel. The Bar menu is awesome. We had the French Dip sandwiches and a few drinks.Perfection! We booked a couple nights in July for 2020 and are planning to hit the OVI again. Give it a try... you will be glad you did!!More

My stepfather's birthday was today. I asked the maitre d if he could ask our waitress Natasha to put a candle in his dessert. She did and she wished him a happy birthday. We both had filet mignon and both were cooked exactly as ordered....Food was delicious and drinks were good. My stepfather had cookie in skillet with ice cream for dessert and I had creme brulee. Both were very good. We highly recommend the Old Village Inn if you want a delicious meal and great service. Maitre d is friendly and all staff are nice. Thanks Natasha!More

The inn has parking in the back but it’s very limited. The trolley stops right in the downtown area and that’s where the inn is located. If you’re thinking of going anytime soon I would suggest taking the trolley. Enjoy!

I am also not 100% sure, but they do have a website, and it seems to me there was a vegan item or two on the menu. You may want to call them too.
