Getaway weekend with the wife led us here. We've been coming to Ogunquit for years, not sure how we never made it here. The meal was spectacular! Fromm my French Onion soup, thru the Lobster Special my food was excellent. My wifes Mushroom Ravioli were...superb and the cream sauce was to die for. Desserts of Blueberry (fresh native) cheese cake and Creme Brule were decadent. Seevice was A++. Will be back soon and often!More

While this has been one of our go to Ogunquit restaurants, no more. Waited over 40 minutes between our appetizer and the main entrees. Lobster came out cold, filet came out rare (asked for medium) and needed several more minutes to get cooked. No communications...from wait staff as we kept asking where our meals were. Chairs were wooded, no pads, and by the end of the night out butts were very sore.More

We weren’t very hungry but needed something. We thought we would try The Old Village Inn and just get some appetizers. We were lead into a back room that was very cozy and comfortable. My husband had scallops wrapped in bacon that were to die...for! I had crab cakes that were a little disappointing. Not too much flavor and a little dry. The service was great.More

My wife and I and some friends enjoyed our recent dining experience at The Old Village Inn. Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs. We were seated promptly upon our arrival and we had martinis and our friends ordered various wines before...dinner. My wife and I shared the delicious clam chowder. I enjoyed the baked stuffed shrimp bt my wife was disappointed with her small filet mignon. Our friends had various seafood entrees and were pleased with the quality of their selections. We all decided to pass on dessert. We will probably return to The Old Village Inn when we are in the Ogunquit area in the future.More

Service was very slow and restaurant was not crowded. 6:00 p.m. reservation, meal arrived at 7:00. We both had filet mignon - one was good, one was thin and fatty. Underdone broccoli and foil wrapped potato were unappealing. Will not return.

Had our 25th anniversary dinner here, and we were very glad we chose this place. The food was excellent and our server Jim was great. I had the sauteed scallops in pernod cream sauce, they were incredible. Hubby had the rib eye and said it...was very good. We started with scallops wrapped in bacon, good but nothing special. Shared a bottle of pinot grigio and had dessert packed to go. When I made the reservation on open table I requested a romantic table and we were seated in the back next to the twinkling lights, just perfect!More

We were seated out in the heated porch with other tables for two. We appreciate this as there is no noise from larger parties and you can actually have a conversation. I had duck that was cooked perfectly. My husband had a chicken dish that...he said was very good. No fancy side dishes just baked potato and beans but both cooked perfectly. We will definitely go back. Our server was efficient and very pleasant.More

Tony was our waiter and he was super. We had escargot, lobster bisque, split the lobster special entree, a cocktail, draft beer, wine with dinner and desserts. We had a party of 4 and ate here midweek at 5pm. Food was generally mediocre in flavor, antiquated presentation, and overpriced for what you get. My stuffed haddock was dried out and the stuffing didn’t taste like seafood stuffing (flavorless and mushy). All 4...entrees served with side of broccoli and a stuffed potato wrapped in tin foil with a side of Hood sour cream (this is what I’d expect at a cheap restaurant). My girlfriend got the lamb chops, which were flavorless and extremely small. Her escargot was good, but the size of them was quite small. I got the lobster bisque, which had chunks of lobster, but the actual soup was not good. FYI, they used the same lobster bisque soup as the lobster sauce on my haddock (just gross!). Also, all the prices on the menu were $1-2 more than their online menu advertised. I don’t mind paying good money for a decent meal in Oguinquit, but the prices don’t match what you’re getting. Ate at 2 other restaurants for dinner locally this same week, and both were similarly priced but food presentation and quality were a lot better than this place. All 4 of us agreed we would not return back here. Don’t believe the good reviews you read (unfortunately we were sucked in by them).More

The inn has parking in the back but it’s very limited. The trolley stops right in the downtown area and that’s where the inn is located. If you’re thinking of going anytime soon I would suggest taking the trolley. Enjoy!

I am also not 100% sure, but they do have a website, and it seems to me there was a vegan item or two on the menu. You may want to call them too.
