Went into Omelette Factory on a Wednesday morning around 10:30. We were seated right away but very soon after, all seats were full. And, I now understand why. I ordered the ham and Swiss omelette and was MORE than satisfied. It was light and fluffy...even with the fillings (how do they do this?). It was delicious! I would not hesitated to recommend. However, on most mornings be prepared to wait.More

Everything we read for this breakfast was correct. Very small restaurant but the omelette is the size of your head and very good. I had the ham and cheese omelette and the cubed ham was the size of my thumb and very good and also...had (3) cheeses inside. Definitely a recommend for breakfast in Ogunquit.More

After a long walk along Marginal Way on Saturday, 10/12, my husband and I decided to try The Omlette Factory for a late breakfast. It's a spot we've been interested to try on our frequent trips to Maine - but as we tend to go...during "off-season" we find they are invariable closed when we are there. The location is small, maybe a dozen or so tables as well as a counter area. Do not be deterred by the small space - the menu is pretty extensive (we counted 42 variations of omlettes in addition to a variety of other egg dishes, french toast, pancakes and everything else you'd expect on a regular breakfast menu). Despite its small footprint, The Omlette Factory delivers big flavor and exceptional service. We waited no time for a table for two and the waitress immediately stopped to take our drink order. Even though she was the only waitress we saw working, she was moving between the tables in the two seating areas and the counter quickly and efficiently and it seemed there was never any wait once the food was ready. I ordered a pizza omlette which was served with an english muffin and sweet bread. The omlette was bigger than I expected and packed with toppings you'd expect to find on a good pizza (pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, cheese, etc.) It was extremely flavorful and well-priced for the portion. The sweet bread can best be described as a lemon poppy seed type of pound cake. They only provide a small slice and it was delicious. I should also note, I asked for hot sauce for my omlette and was given a choice of either Frank's or the chefs homemade. I chose the homemade and was not disappointed. It was excellent while not being overpowering. They do sell small bottles that you can bring home with you if you are so inclined. My husband ordered a single slice of french toast and a side of ham and homefries. The french toast was made on thick Texas style bread and was very good. As we recall you could order a single slice or two slices - if you intend to get anything to go along with it, the single slice will be more than enough. The ham was good - a modest slice of Virginia ham that had excellent flavor. The homefries were also good - but definitely needed additional seasoning at the table. For those who prefer a "plain" order of homefries with nothing additional (i.e.: a lot of seasoning, onions, etc.) these will definitely be what you're looking for. Again, enough cannot be said about the waitress - she was exceptional - making sure everyone had what they needed and checking back more than once. Without a doubt - we will be visiting here again when we venture back to the Ogunquit area early next year (provided they are open when we are in town!)More

Have been here with my family many times. Friendly service, delicious food and portion size never disappoints. The omelettes are over stuffed with all your favorite fillings and lemon poppy bread is to die for. It’s a small place so, sometimes you have a wait...but, it’s worth it. If you go home hungry it’s your own fault!More

After one breakfast here, we decided to make it our final breakfast in town. "The Winner" and champion of our week long breakfast trials. Great friendly service, very good breakfasts prepared just the way we wanted; good sized portions without being too much. Homemade jam...was lovely.More

You simply can't beat this place. What a gem. We go here every visit in the spring and again in the fall. We will be there again this coming week and can't wait as it is the highlight of our trip. The owners are friendly...and authentic. The staff makes you feel at home and Bobby is an outstanding cook. Omelette's ate unparalleled. My favorites - veggie omellete and lobster Benedict. My wife loves the chicken fajita omellete.More

Hadn’t been there in two years. Same chef, but potatoes were out of a frozen bag, omelets were not as good and toast wasn’t even toasted and butter not melted on it. Big disappointment.
