For a party of two on a busy Sunday morning, the wait was relatively short, only about ten minutes. This was our first visit and we were absolutely impressed! The menu options were varied and the prices were reasonable. We both had omelettes and they were so big, we both brought home leftovers! The waitstaff was attentive and friendly! Try the strawberry jam!! We highly recommend this quaint little restaurant and it will be a stopping point for us anytime we are in the area!

Simply the best breakfast in OGN and area. This is a must must must every single season. The omelettes are huge, light and delicious. This time we opted for the New Englander which came loaded with baked beans, ham, cheese and sausage. Spectacular. Real big chunks of real ham (no deli meat). I had the shrimp, onion and American cheese omelette. The blending of the flavors was perfection. We also enjoyed a side order of well seasoned homes fries. All omelettes come with a slice of homemade bread (ours was corn this time) and half and English muffin with their homemade strawberry jam. Steve and Drew….we’re going to miss you both so much. You’re the best!! But I have no doubt we’ll see you next season.

This is kind of a dive type place, which I love! You go down a half flight of stairs and walk in to…the kitchen, counter, and some of the tables. I sat at the counter and ordered the Pizza Omelette (pepperoni, sausage, swiss, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives; ½ English Muffin & Slice of Sweet Bread) along with Coffee. The Omelette was fold over style with a ton of ingredients in between. The omelette was great and really interesting and it had come up fast! The owner was also very friendly. What was lacking was the service. Basically nonexistent. My coffee was never refilled. I’d still go back, though, because that omelette was amazing.
And to prove that I came back for lunch. This time around I had a Mexican Omelette (salsa, chilis, mushrooms, cheddar; ½ English Muffin & Slice of Sweet Bread) along with Iced Tea this time. I liked this omelette even better. And it came up VERY fast. The service this time? Just as bad. I had to ask for every one of my tea refills.
The food and price make this place worth it, though, and I really liked the chef and the owner.

While this restaurant seems to have a good reputation we were very disappointed with service as well as the food. Wait times at this establishment are long so one expects to get great grub. Well not this time , food arrived very late it took about 30minutes for the food to be served after ordering . Then when the food arrived the eggs were as cold ,as in very cold- as also was the bacon cold, and the pre-frozen recooked potatoes were barely edible. My wife asked that I not make a fuss, so i kept silent At these prices I expected fresh cut home-fries not pre frozen and a very hot plate. Will I ever go back , possibly but i will demand a hot plate or i will send it back .

We went here for breakfast and waited about twenty minutes for a table. There are not many restaurants in Ogunquit which serve a full breakfast. They have a very extensive menu with easily 40 different omelettes. They also offer other types of breakfast items. It was crowded inside with the tables very close together. The food was good.
However, the service was very slow. It took us over a half an hour to get our food once we ordered. They only have one cook who is preparing meals for perhaps 40 people.
The food was good but given the wait outside and inside we probably would not go here again.

There was a long line to get in. That was fine ... however the food was in our opinion tasteless. I mean how can an omelette not taste of eggs? I don't understand.. I know I saw the guys beating a whole bunch of whole eggs for the omelettes just don't get it. Plus they give you a HALF of English muffin and a slice of what they call sweet bread. Still shaking my head about those item ... I mean a half of a muffin????
We decided not to return then and in the future.

With covid and having a little one, I will only eat at a restaurant if we are outside. I saw great reviews for this place and thought we should try it. They have picnic tables and don't offer outdoor service. I think they are really for the BBQ place that shares the same building. I ordered a to go breakfast so that we could eat outside. The host warned me that it would be 30 minutes whereas inside seating could happen within 5 minutes. My party was fine waiting. I saw people come and go and folks who came after us were already finished with their indoor meals. When we checked on the status of our order, after about 40 minutes they were just starting to cook our food! It appears that they put all the to go orders in last? So it doesn't matter in what order people come? We honestly would have cancelled our order if I hadn't paid upfront. In the end the food was just ok. It was nothing worth that wait.

It had great menu options for omelettes. I do prefer my omelettes veggies to be done completely . I had a ham and cheese I found it to be too much cheese. My husband had a veggie one and the veggies were Kind of hard and my son had a steak one which had an actual piece of steak in it and he said it was good. Staff was nice

My husband and I each had an omelet and.both were absolutely delicious. The service was very prompt right from the time of arrival. They continually brought fresh coffee refills without having to ask. The food was served hot and cooked superbly. Highly recommend!!

Wanted some takeaway breakfast and ended up here after another spot’s hours were wrong. Man, am I glad! The pancake was literally the best I’ve ever had. The blueberry sauce was a little watered down but still very flavorful. The omelette was also fantastic and the strawberry jelly that came with the English muffin was perfection. Will now be our go-to spot for breakfast. PS - I appreciate the separate takeaway area and the ability to wait outside!

Disappointed in the food. Staff were fine. The burrito omelette was supposed to have black beans, instead it came with refried beans. The English muffins were stale and chewy. The sweet bread was pointless. I also spent 11.95 on a small jar of hot sauce that was watered down with beer. If that had been described on the menu or presented on an ingredient list, I would not have wasted my money. Won't go back.

Hot delicious made to order omelette's. Service was excellent and the homemade strawberry jam is so so good. Bottomless coffee, also great. We even purchased blueberry muffins for the trip home the next day. They stayed fresh tasting and were moist and loaded with blueberries. YUM!

There are a myriad of omelette choices. You can readily create your own. The eggs were cooked perfectly. They handled my dairy allergy without a hitch. However, I like my veggies cooked into the eggs, not eggs folded over the fillings. No home fries were available either. The place was extremely crowded but they were honest with wait times. They wasted no time cooking. If you do not mind your omellete folded over the fillings, then you will love The Omelette Factory.

Early morning looking up and down Route 1 for some breakfast. Pulled into the Omelette Factory because it looked like a cute place and there were several cars there already. We weren’t disappointed. Neat layout, great people, and interesting menu. We ordered a Pizza Omelette, Corn Beef Hash Omelette, and a Build-It-Yourself Breakfast Sandwich on a toasted English muffin. A couple nice surprises were each breakfast came with a piece of lemon blueberry bread and a toasted English muffin with their homemade strawberry jam. The strawberry jam was so good we bought two jars to take home with us. We will go back again the next time we vacation at Well Beach, Maine!

This is one of the few places open mid-week at this time of year. We opted to eat outside, although inside dining is available on two levels. The owner was outside and greeted us, explained the procedure, and handed us menus. There are a lot of unique and interesting omelettes available, along with other breakfast foods. I ordered a cauliflower omelette and my wife ordered a veggie omelette. We also ordered a blueberry muffin, grilled, an order of home fries. The home fries were perfectly seasoned, cam with two ketchup packets, and the blueberry muffin came with two pats of butter. The home fries did not need the ketchup they were so good. We were given a buzzer, being outside at a picnic table (some have umbrellas) and the buzzer went off after a very short time. Food for outdoor eating comes in take out containers. Our omelettes came with a buttered English muffin, and a slice of blueberry bread. Remarkably delicious strawberry jam was provided. The food was quite good, and substantial, filling. It was cooked perfectly, all of it. We enjoyed it very much. Parking is tight, and there are two parking areas. Located on Route 1 just outside of Ogunquit center. Friendly staff. Order and pick up your take out upstairs. No wheelchair ramp.
