My wife and I came here while on a long weekend getaway for our anniversary. One of the few places that takes reservations in Ogunquit. We had an incredible meal, I had the Maine Seafood Pasta and my wife had the Shrimp Scampi as our...main meals. We also had the Seafood Chowder as a starter. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! We ate at another well known place in town the day before, whom I will not name, and Jonathan’s blew that place out of the water! I feel like we got ripped off honestly. Thank you to the amazing staff at Jonathan’s. We will be back!More
We enjoyed dinner in a private room at Jonathan‘s on a recent Saturday evening. The decor, ambience, and food are undeniably classy and classic. The wine list is brief but nicely curated, the cocktails were creative and fun, and the menu is rooted in favorites...like steak Diane, shepherds pie, filet mignon, and seafood staples like broiled scallops and baked haddock. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want some delicious coastal food, this is a great choice in Ogunquit. I’ll be back.More
I was there for a family dinner,, so there were eight of us, age ranging from 31 to 70. I had chicken dish, piccatta, I think it was . It was soo good I said if anyone tries to take this away from me, I...may have to bite them. But they did not have to try, because everything was great--stuffed haddoc, and I forget what else--but all of us said the food was great. Plenty of parking. Very good service. We were there on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet. They have a room upstairs where they host concerts of various kinds.More

Thank you for choosing to dine with us! We look forward to your return!
Perfect service, thanks Devon! Chasing, sweet professional, helped round out our experience. Can not wait to go back to see him! A talented waiter, perhaps an even more talented singer! The beer balancing act was first class! Food was to die for!!
Not only was the food top notch, but the wait staff was patient and helpful, even though we stayed well beyond the listed closing time. Both the steak and seafood was perfectly cooked and there was a kid's menu that went over well with the...grandkids (and my wallet). The accompanying music was just the right level for conversation and was a pleasant addition to the meal.More
My wife and I agreed. Best meal ever. The meal was seasoned just perfectly no need to add any further seasoning. The dinner music was great. Piano and Saxaphone set a perfect tone for the most comfortable room. Looking forward to our next stay at...the Grand Hotel just down the road.More
When we arrived, it was clear that we chose a popular spot to have Thanksgiving Dinner - the parking lot was just about full! We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was attentive and friendly, considering how busy it was, he took...time to chat with us and made suggestions as well. I had the Thanksgiving punch, which was delicious! The holiday menu had a variety of choices, but my husband and I both chose the turkey with all the trimmings. More than enough food and we enjoyed it very much - and still had room for dessert, which was yummy as well. The ambience really felt like Thanksgiving day - Jonathan's has a quaint, cozy, warm feeling when you walk in the door. When back in the Ogunquit area, we will be sure to stop in!More
We went to a rehearsal dinner there to honor my daughter and her now husband. We had the whole back room to ourselves. Parking was tough but the food was delicious. Boursin mushroom caps, scallops wrapped in bacon, huge shrimp cocktail, lollypop lamb chops started...the evening off. The main course that i had of steak was delicious as was the chocolate mousse. A lovely place for a special eventMore
Quick summary: a nice variety on the menu of classic New England dishes. Friendly, professional service. Reasonable prices for the quality.
Our group of family adults had dinner here before a show. at their cabaret/theater in a different part of the building. I have family...in the area, but this was my first time here -- they come often. (Summer can get booked up easily - fall was a bit easier, but not much as the place was quite full.)
Our group had a variety of the dishes - scallops, chicken marsala, steak, chicken schnitzel. (We had had a lot of fish in dinners earlier in the week -- looking for something different.) All was tasty and delish. Mains come with appropriate starch and veg of the day.
Apps are mostly in the $teens. Chicken dishes and shepherd's pie mostly in the $20's. Fish dishes (scallops, salmon...) in the $30's. Steak dishes in the $40's. Extra sides about $5 (try the beets.) Salads are tucked under $10.
Delish classic desserts, e.g. blueberry bread pudding; blueberry crumble; chocolate cake; etc. and etc.
Friendly, professional service.
Full bar. The wine list is by the bottle and glass - most classes in the low $teens, but house wine for $8. Still, bottle can go from very reasonable to some of the more expensive stuff.
In a perfect world, the waitstaff wouldn't have to use the hand-helds to take orders. Everything came out as ordered, but asking for some complications on cocktails (e.g. dirty rocks with the martini or Manhattan) seemed difficult to log in. And yes - having dirty rocks is NOT a dirty martini, but the waitstaff clarified that in advance - just a tech thing to get it right.) ..But it seemed beyond the computing capabilities of the gizmo.
Pretty good COVID practices - tables well-spaced.
I'd be delighted to come here again; I'd love to try the shepherd's pie. We just have to book earlier.More
