Location is perfect, food is good, but portions are tiny. Lobster, tuna or any other roll is basically two bites. If you order two or three you might get enough food, but it would be really expensive lunch.

Went there for lobster for my wife. I'm not a big fish eater, but I like fish and chips. Much to my surprise the don't sell fried food, not even fries. I didn't want to leave to I decided to try something else and I'm very glad I did. My wife loved her lobster. We shared a delicious bowl of... More

Had dinner there a couple nights ago. Walked the marginal way from the Anchorage to Perkins cove. No problem getting a table at 6pm on a very hot July evening. Small order of steamers, two broiled haddock dinners with stuffed baked potato, coleslaw and rolls. Everything was fresh and was served piping hot. Good sized portions. Rum punch and frozen... More

This restaurant is a must when visiting the Marginal Way area. They offer a variety of fresh seafood plus other selections to choose from. The fresh lobster dinner is the best! There is seating outside and inside as well with a most fantastic view of the Marginal Way and the ocean too. Prices are moderate. Parking is a huge bonus.....free... More

Ate dinner here in mid-June before the tourist rush so it wasn't very busy. Service was attentive, food was very good and the view was superb.

The first year we came to Maine we were looking for a place to get really good lobster rolls. Our server at another restaurant recommended the Oarweed in Perkins Cove. We've been coming back for 3 years now. This is the only place in Ogunquit where you can get a cup of NE Clam Chowder and a Lobster roll for... More

It's hard to beat the view from this restaurant as it's at the end of Marginal Way and right on the water. We waited about fifteen minutes one evening for dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was very good. Two in our group had the baked lobster and two had the haddock stuffed with lobster.... More

This restaurant has been resting on its laurels for quite some time, but it's a ritual visit for my mother, so we went. We paid $19 for the "large" steamed clams (there were about 15 and in no universe would the portion served classify as "large"), but they were good, if slightly undercooked. The lobsters at this restaurant are habitually... More

My wife & I stopped for lunch at the Oarweed Cove on a hot & steamy afternoon last week. After walking the Marginal Way, it was time to put back some of the calories we lost during our walk. The Oarweed sits at the end of the walk right beside the path. We were lucky to get a small table... More
