Yes, the view is spectacular but the food is just ok. I had a haddock sandwich which, to me, tasted like frozen fish. Others at the table had lobster salad and lobster roll which they said were good. Also, there is no fried food here (clams, shrimp, chicken fingers, French fries, etc.) which wasn't a deal breaker for me but... More

we sat out back and had a view of the Marginal Way and the cove which was very nice. The food was just okay and not as good as we expected.

.the location can't be beat for ocean view dining. The prices are typical. The seafood chowder was the best I had on the entire trip. The server was attentive and friendly. The lobster was tender. The down side is that a shore dinner is a cup of chowder, lobster and dessert. Everything else is extra. I ordered a baked potato.... More

Every time we go to Ogunquit the first thing we do is walk to Perkins Cove and have drinks outside at the Oarweed Restaurant. Bad name, but a great place. Good selection of beer and the food is good too (although we usually just have an appetizer or two...)

We visited on a family weekend out of Boston. We enjoyed the lobster roll, shrimp roll, scallops roll and flounder. All were good but the scallops and lobster roll were best. Bun was toasted, scallops lightly fried, better than barnacle bills across the street. Had outdoor dining overlooking the bay allowing the kids to play on the rocks while we... More

WE had a lovely lobster dinner sitting on the patio. Found the lobster to be a bit pricey but probably worth it when you consider the setting. Highly Recommend this place!

Dropped in here for a late lunch after walking The Marginal Way. Delicious huge fresh haddock sandwich. Great service, the lovely waitress doted on my 5-year-old daughter and even made her wildest dreams come true by offering her an extra bag of chips.

I really enjoyed this place with family and in-laws. Went for lunch chowder was the best in town! I had grilled cheese and it was awesome and cheap. Love the view of marginal way!

Located on Perkins Cove, they have a free valet parking lot that is a huge plus. We were able to get a nice seat overlooking the ocean on a picturesque summer evening. Started with a delicious bowl of clam chowder that was filled with many clams. The meals included a baked seafood dinner with an ample portion of shrimp, scallops... More
