On family vacation in Ogunquit we were able to walk to this quaint little restaurant in the white house (formerly Provence) and have an early breakfast. I had the griddled blueberry muffin with an omelet and homefries. Boy was this a lot of food! I could only eat half the omelet and muffin and took the rest to go. Surprisingly,... More

We had a delicious dinner at Roost. Waitress was extremely accommodating and very helpful with gluten free choices. Appetizer salads - greens and beets- were good sized, well dressed and tasty. Fish entrees- salmon and tuna- were nicely presented and delicious- particularly the sauce on the salmon. Good portion sizes. Lots of menu choices and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A fabulous little restaurant, up away from town..private parking lot, great menu, super service, fabulous menu and wonderfully prepared food. What more can we say..there was nothing we can say bad about this place....so we recommend it highly. One of the nicest evenings of our trip. BTW..the entree portions are huge, so perhaps you'll be satisfied with small plate appetizers... More

The weekend we ate here was especially crowded and we felt it was under staffed. Our waitress needed roller skates to keep up. The food is excellent but there is too much of it. My husband ordered the blueberry pancakes. There were three GIANT pancakes on the plate - he asked for a "to go" box immediately. I had the... More

Hello, thank you for the kind words about how you enjoyed the food. So sorry that you felt the portions were too large. Wasting food is not on our radar whatsoever and over portioning is just bad restaurant management. 99 percent of our customers feel the portions are appropriate. But if your critique is only that, we'll take it as... More

We had a great dinner here. The mixed greens salad should perhaps be renamed to extraordinary greens. We loved the combination of flavors. We ordered the seared tuna and the fish and chips, which were both really good. The restaurant has a quaint, rustic, French country decor, which creates a nice ambiance. Our server Oliver was just right - there... More

I was in Ogunquit for a girls weekend and we stumbled on Roost while walking to a reservation - the menu looked SO good that we canceled and went right in and we were not disappointed! All of our meals were amazing. I had the chicken which was so different and flavorful. The bacon corn sauce was to die for... More

Hi Kendra, You highlighted all of my favorite dishes - Lamb Shank, Statler Chicken and the Korean Beef Stir Fry. I also love the Blueberry Cobbler is a definite as well, but I have to refrain from eating dessert. We are so glad you happened by, saw our menu and cancelled your other reservations. What a testament to serendipity and... More

We had a four-generation family dinner at Roost for our big night out of our week in Ogunquit. The food was wonderful. Those who had the salmon were crazy about it. The apps were good and the desserts were fantastic. Only complaints are about the server. She was average, and for this cost and caliber of restaurant, I would expect... More

Good Morning Matthew W, Thank you for review, although it is very disappointing and distressing to read your critique of our staffs' integrity. I am so sorry and apologize with all our sincerest feelings that you had that impression. The waitstaff should have known that the menu stated 18%. When we do special functions for larger groups, and prepare a... More
