At most places I have been to they over charge you and only give you 2.5 to 4.0. At this take out window you get 5 oz of pure fresh lobster. They ask you how you want it mayo plain or hot with butter. A must stop!!! This is truly something special

Whenever we visit Ogunquit, we have learned to head for Footbridge Lobster for lobster rolls during our visit! While they advertise a 5 ounce serving of lobster, it is considerably more and each bite is fantastic. Last week we visited family on a rainy evening. Not wanting to eat outside at a restaurant, we decided to order takeout from Footbridge. The rain stopped in time for us to walk there and put in the order! In only a few minutes we had our buttered, warm lobster rolls, along with a cheeseburger, grilled cheese and bacon grilled cheese for the rest of the family, who had already enjoyed lobster during the week. We will return next time!

Excellent lobster roll and steamed whole lobsters!! The woman working recommended trying the lobster roll with a mix of mayo and melted butter and WOW. So good ! Sounded different but so glad I tried it . The whole steamed lobster was a great deal, 2 (1 1/4 LB) lobsters for $29. Can’t beat that. Excellent

While in OGT you'll hear "Oh, where can you get the best lobster roll?". And the answer to that is Footbridge Lobster. This little "hole in the wall" near the Footbridge serves up the BEST lobster roll you'll ever eat.. No Joke!. With mayo, butter or BOTH. We saw locals and worker men standing in line getting theirs. You take your roll and find a spot to sit or stand over near the wooden deck area looking at the water. You will not be disappointed. A MUST try while in Ogunquit.

After reading the reviews, I threw out the outliers that claimed the lobster rolls lacked flavor. There were just too many positive reviews. After spending $120 on lunch for 4, I have to agree with the minority reviewers. The lobster rolls were rather tasteless. I’m not sure how that’s even possible. On a positive note, the lobster was cooked perfectly and the portion felt generous. We did 2 with mayo and 2 with melted butter, alas none were better than the other.

"From My Boat to You", says the sign as you approach this iconic walk up on and in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, ME. That's all I needed to read. 8 years ago!!!! I get a lobster card every year and almost always fill it with 10 punches for my free lobster roll by late September! I live two hours away and always visit the Marginal Way and the beach on days off and I make this stop every time. Do not miss this place. Fresh!

I don’t know where to start but this place is awesome so how about I start there. The owner is kind and very down to earth. Me and my wife had four lobsters for under $50 please go here if you want lobster you get a great Maine lobster experience and it’s right by the sea. If you go there please try his lobster rolls it’s insanely good!

We'd been told that this was the best place to go for lobster rolls, but honestly, I didn't believe the hype until we tried it for ourselves. Hands down the best lobster roll that we had during our week on the Southern Maine coast. Perfectly buttered and toasted bun loaded with sweet lobster. Both Connecticut style and Maine style were great. We also had a side of whole belly clams, and sat at a picnic table near the footbridge to eat it all. This place is not fancy but it doesn't need to be - they deliver where it counts. You should try it for yourself! It really is the place to go if you're in search of the best lobster roll.

This is take out only so you can sit on a bench or find a picnic table. We loved the lobsters, perfectly cooked. Hubby was happy that they also serve beer. No public drinking so bring a copy of you're a rule breaker. Our friends recommended the lobster roll as being fantastic.

I highly recommend this place to everyone! I loved my grilled cheese lobster roll, the bread is home made and you can taste the difference. Very yummy 😋The location is amazing, you can enjoy the food while admiring the seafront views. Also, the service is very nice and friendly. We'll definitely come back!

I should have taken a picture of the lobster rolls we got but there was simply no time, that's how good they are!
We got two (2) lobster rolls which came with a bag of potato chips for each roll and I tried a bottle of Maine Root Blueberry soda! That soda is awesome.
But let me tell you about the Lobster rolls...they are exquisite! Served on a brioche hot dog bun they melt in your mouth!
The staff is very nice and pleasant. I have had other lobster rolls around the Seacoast of Maine over the years but the ones at Footbridge are the best! This is only the second time I've been to Footbridge in the past few years but I wish I knew about it before! If I could give 500-stars I would! 😊

We were in an AirBnB around the corner so we stopped at the Footbridge to pick up dinner. Two lobster rolls with lots of lobster and just enough Mayo to hold it together (you can also get rolls with melted butter). The lobster grilled cheese sandwich (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!) had the same 5 ounces of lobster with a mild cheese between two slices of thick sourdough bread. Very good! The lobster is very fresh; a guy behind us ordered the buy one get one free option: the woman at the stand told a fisherman passing by, “I need 2 lobster” and the he ran down the ramp and returned with 2 alive and kicking lobster! It doesn’t get much fresher than that! Great bargain and very good food!

The lobster roll here is the best I have ever had. 5 ounces of tail and claw meat. Nice big chunks. You can choose to have it plain, with butter, or with mayo. And you can have it hot or cold. There is so much lobster meat that they give you a fork!
This place is a take out stand, therefore they do not have tables. There are two tables opposite the stand, so if you are lucky you will have a table to eat at. There are a lot of benches nearby and that is where we enjoyed our lobster roll with our BYOB wine. Just devine!

I was pretty stoked to check this place out based on the reviews I read in anticipation of our trip. It was the first lobster roll I had ever had so I didn't have anything to compare it to. Subsequent ones in other places prompt me to give it a good rating, but not outstanding like the one I had in Wiscasset. What was disappointing was the service. The guy, who I believe is the owner, wasn't pleasant. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day but I had read about how nice he was. Didn't impress. In fact, his credit card processor had an automatic tip placed on there that it appeared you could not avoid, and the service certainly wasn't worthy of a tip. No thank you was given for coming by. I work in a service profession and it is my standard to thank the customer for using my service. If I owned the business, I would certainly thank the customer. I also thought his price was pretty high. There was a place right next door that I enjoyed more with better options.

The only Maine experience you need! Chris and Wendi treat you like family. The lobster we ate for lunch was caught that morning. I’ve enjoyed takeout up & down the Maine/NH coast and haven’t found anything that compares to the quality and authenticity. A+++
