Once you get by the fact that the restaurant is housed in what obviously used to be a gas station, nice atmosphere and very good food. Both my souvlaki and my friend’s lemon chicken were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly.

Superb. Excellent food, fantastic Bloody Mary's, music, and waitstaff. Covid compliant. Will be back

Great food and reasonably priced! We stopped by here for lunch and we were not disappointed. My husband had the lemon soup, burger and fries. I had a Greek salad that was simply delicious. We will definitely be back.

Went there this past week (Oct 2020). Food was very good and I think reasonably priced. Easy to get to being on the main road in Ogunquit.

We ate here for dinner expecting real good Greek food. Being in Greece many times and having Greek food there I was hoping this would get me close. The food was good but not as good as I hoped for. It had the right things...on the menu to entice me, but the taste was not what I hoped for when I tasted the dishes. The butternut squash soup was good. The baklava hardly tasted nutty and was sweet from the honey. Perhaps your expectations are not as high as mine and you will enjoy it.More

This was a very good lunch--flatbreads with toppings (a veggie and a spicy lamb mix). The avgolemono soup was ok, not great (a bit thin in texture and not subtly flavored with lemon). I'd come back for dinner, though--atmosphere welcoming, menu appealing.

The calamari was amazing, so we thought our sandwiches would be also, but they were far from it. Their steak sandwich was dry and loaded with hot cherry peppers, but someone forgot the onions and cheese. $15 is outrageous to charge for such a paltry...sandwich. My husband's fish sandwich was tasteless. He said the best part of the sandwich was the cucumbers. Needless to say we will not eat there again and we will frequent the area for shopping, beach, and cliffs. This was the first time we ate at a restaurant since March because of the virus. This experience certainly did not enthuse me to try another spot with outdoor seating. Too bad. Service was slow but good..More

I always want to research every complaint, but I am curious what the response was when you said your Mediterranean Sub had no cheese or onions. Mistakes do happen and we always are willing to re-cook anything for our guests. As far as the Fish...More

Ate here twice during our stay and had two great meals. One of the best gyros I have ever had. The Greek egg soup was incredible. Could have eaten gallons of it. A must try. Great job all.

Mediterranean food is what I live on & love. Saw positive reviews for Nikanos and decided to give it a shot for dinner. Ordered grilled octopus, calamari, zucchini chips, etc. which could have tasted decent had they not stood prepared for serving on the kitchen...counter for at least 25min. or more (our table was next to it so I saw when plates were put out) before our waitress picked them up and brought over to the table - COLD! Very disappointing! Service was horrendous at dinner that day. Took 30 min. from the time we were seated to get water - really?! But I am a believer in 2nd chances, so next time I thought maybe lunch was going to be a better experience. Ordered mussels...they arrived 30+ min. later (while the place was not busy -1/2 tables empty) and tasted really fishy...overpowering smell. I couldn't eat them at all. It was a generous portion - but they didn't smell or taste fresh. Paid and left - disappointed again. C'mon, guys! No justice to Mediterranean cuisine. Feel let down...too bad as we frequent Ogunquit and I would love to have a nice Mediterranean dining option.More

I'd like to speak with you as this is not the experience 99% of our guests have had. Mistakes do happen, and I'd like to find out which night and day you came in. Here's my cell phone: (603)365-0623 Sincerely, Marc
