This is a very nice place for a cocktail and dinner! My wife and I have come to enjoy it greatly with only one hiccup Service last night was slow. On a night where the place was dead too!

We went here for their happy hour drink specials. The service was not very friendly. However, they did have a great margherita pizza.

That Place was really fantastic until dessert was served. After more than twenty years of experience in restaurants, I knew immediately when it was served that the peanut butter pie was not a house-made delight we were hoping to share. It was an unfortunate disappointment after the classic New England entrees had been executed so well. For sure there are... More

We recently visited That Place for dinner on our honeymoon trip. The stuffed haddock and shrimp were delicious but more importantly the service was phenomenal. Our server, Sudie, surprised us with a special happy honeymoon dessert. It really made us feel special. Definitely recommend a visit here!

Been enjoying That Place for the past year and a half and feel like a "regular". Most often we sit at the bar to mingle and chat with owner/bartender Rick. He makes a great martini with pizazz in the lemon twist like nowhere else. There new menu since re-opening in the Spring has certainly increased our attendance. Fun place to... More

I went with two kids. We sat outside. The restaurant is almost in Perkins Cove and parking tough, but they had valet. The food was really good. We all loved our entrees. It was a tad expensive, but I did have lobster and steak. No kids menu but they ordered from the bar menu and had burgers and pizza. They... More

Our niece had eaten here before and it was her suggestion. It is a winner! You can make a reservation, they have valet parking - very important since this is located just before you get into Perkins Cove. We took both our nieces for dinner and had a blast. We were not rushed and our server was very attentive. Nice,... More

My husband and I had dinner out on the patio and although it faces Shore Road we found it very relaxing. We both ordered the lazy man lobster dinner and it was wonderful. Our waiter suggested the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was fabulous! Service was terrific and we found the entire place to have a great vibe.

Have heard many great things about That Place and brought the family tonight after a day at the beach. It was a perfect night to sit outside on the patio. Very family friendly atmosphere. The food and service was spot-on! We had calamari, bruschetta and chicken wings for appetizers. Meals included filet (a perfect medium rare), baked stuffed shrimp and... More
