The views of the lake are amazing. Screened in porch and outdoor seating available. California panini was amazing and flavorful! Would definitely return!

We have a seasonal place in Fayette and this is always one of my first stops taking the back roads to Augusta, even if its just for coffee. Breakfasts are served up quickly and reasonably priced. I like the breakfast Burrito. Good views of the...lake and an outside screened porch when its warm. They serve lunch too, with beer and wine and also offer dinner specials on some evenings. Local artists' work adorn the walls.More

Choices are varied and interesting. Seemed like everything is made to order and fresh ingredients. Love the fact that it is right on the lake!

Stopped here for lunch on our way through the area. I gave this a 3 because I did not find anything special about this little cafe. Probably will not stop at this cafe again.

We had a family farewell breakfast here this morning. I had that permission to put tables together, but it didn’t make one of the clients very happy. So we moved to another area down at the picnic table. We didn’t have the beautiful view of...the lake that we had hoped for, but it was a nice view of the town. We met a gentleman who told us he use to pick up his mail at this Post Office. The service was impressively fast. Other customers very friendly. Our Breakfast Burrito was sensational, but if you want some kick, order the salsa.More

My husband and son went there to eat on a Wednesday and said it was the best BBQ pork sandwich they ever had. We decided to go back as a family on Saturday. My husband ordered the BBQ pork, I ordered the lemon chicken salad,...my daughter had a make your own sandwich and my son had a panini. I tried my husband's pork sandwich and it was good, not a lot of BBQ flavor. My daughter loved her ham and cheese sandwich and my son enjoyed his panini. I thought my salad had too much dressing, I should have asked for the dressing on the side. The salad was over powered by the flavor of apple cider vinegar. The staff at the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly.More

Food has always been good to fair. At my visit today, the ice tea was undrinkable, tasted like it had sat out for a few days and was going bad. (I am a lover of ice tea and have had spoiled tea before). When I...told staff that the tea tasted spoiled, I was told that it was made yesterday and put into the empty dispenser this morning and that it couldn't be bad. Again, I told them it tasted bad and asked them to taste it themselves if they didn't believe me. I do understand that tea can go bad without staff realizing it. What bothered me the most was how dismissive they were and that they made no effort to rectify the situation.More

There isn't much in this area so we stopped in. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the people who run the place are just so friendly. in addition, if you go at the right time and sit on the porch you can...see the sunset on the lake. I can't recommend it too highly.More

we stop here frequently, especially enjoying eating on the screened porch overlooking Lake Minnehonk. Their roast vegetable panini is one of our favorites, large enough for two old people! They have great baked goods, and their vegetables are local.

When you drive a few hundred miles and want a good meal, Olde Post Office Cafe delivers. We all enjoyed lunch there the other day. Less lines and wait in afternoon. Previously we went for breakfast.Being from Maine, I might suggest they make breakfast all...day long (~;More
