The Milbridge House is one of our favorites. We always enjoy our breakfast or lunch but best of all is the great service. Every time we visit we are greeted with a smile by our waitresses. The food is consistently good and we especially enjoy...the specials ( sometimes on weekends they have crab or lobster Benedict!!).More

We loved our breakfast here and they had fresh ingredients. Home cooked and yummy! We ordered take out because we were headed to get on the train ride in Elbridge.

Went here for lunch with my sisters. I had the haddock sandwich that was nice and fresh and the onion rings are excellent, thin and crispy. The desserts are excellent, too, fresh and flavorful, but we were too full to have this trip. I try...to eat here every time I'm in the area because I enjoy it that much.More

My wife and I stopped by at lunch time after buying some antiques in Sorrento, a few miles down the road. It's a clean, fairly modern diner with wood paneling, several booths and a sit-down bar (not a mixed drink bar). The decorations and ambiance...reflect the sea-faring community of Millbridge rather well. Rest room was clean and orderly. My wife ordered the haddock sandwich, was HUGE and served with some very tasty, non-greasy fries and a crisp pickle spear. The haddock was thick and flaky, barely fitting in the over-sized brioche bun. She said it was very good. I had the fish and chips (haddock) and was impressed with the amount of beautifully-prepared haddock that was piled on the plate - twice what one would expect for a full haddock dinner. I order haddock at a lot of restaurants along the coast and this was right up there with the best. And here's the kicker. The whole bill came to $25 and included coffee which was refilled a time or two. Our server, Krystal, was genuinely nice and very attentive to our needs. I wish we lived closer because this place would easily become a regular stop.More

My wife and I live three seasons in Roque Bluffs, 30 miles north of Milbridge, but driving south to our winter home in Maryland last month, our first chance for breakfast happened in Milbridge. We were stunned by how wonderful the breakfast was that we...got at Milbridge House. Our crucial test for breakfast is the potatoes (anybody can do decent eggs and meat), so my wife ordered home fries with her breakfast and I ordered hash browns. BOTH were the best we've had in YEARS. We're so impressed, after we get back to Roque Bluffs next spring, we just may now and then drive 30 miles to have such spectacular breakfast food that Milbridge House offers.More

Humh - not sure where the great ratings came from. It’s OK and only OK. Good coleslaw, nice (but not focused) waitress. Clams were good.

We come here often for breakfast or lunch and it is very reliable. Our favorite breakfast is the lobster Benedict. Make sure you get some of the baked good at the checkout counter to take with you- they are delicious!!

Met some new friends at the Milbridge House for breakfast. Service was great as was the food. Definitely has a local small town atmosphere. Highly recommended for breakfast.

On our way up to Canada, we stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. This is a small cafe in a charming, but very small town in the heart of wild blueberry country. We had REAL New England clam chowder and REAL lobster stew--a real...treat for two Wisconsinites! The only disappointment is that we were just a few minutes too late to enjoy blueberry pie. Our server was extremely friendly and kind. This must be a local favorite with several interesting regulars. A sweet older gentleman simply sat down next to us and shared a bit of his life story as a now-retired grave digger. We felt right at home.More
