I had never had poutine and Dolly's was recommended. Due to my lactose sensitivity I did not have the traditionally made poutine with the cheese curds, but had it with shredded cheese instead, as suggested by my waitress. I tried the dish as traditionally served...More

this restaurant is known for it's good food and service, try the ploys with butter, with your food instead of bread, you will now know how the Acadians ate ploys with every meal

I ate here 3 days ago, and it was great. Huge portions, lots of fresh seafood platters. The only negative thing I would mention, is that it is so popular that it is sometimes hard to get a table. The restaurant is not very big.

Dolly’s is a pretty good local restaurant. I enjoyed the chicken stew, which had nice fluffy dumplings and some potatoes but could have had more chicken. I loved the ployes that came with it. My husband liked his turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy...More

The food is good but not outstanding with a fair price. I liked their BLT. It is always crowded with locals and families.

Excellent food and service! Highly recommended. Try the local favorite, buckwheat pancakes, with dinner. They are sort of a pancake meets a crepe. I think they are called ploy. Awesome!!

You would have to ask them for the recipe, but I don't see why they wouldn't give it out, unless it is a secret.
