We were visiting family in Lovell Maine and our first stop for lunch was Rosie's. Our burgers were cooked EXACTLY to our liking. My picky 13 year old ate every single bite and left nothing on his plate. Looks like an old fashioned joke in...the wall burger joint but WELL worth it! We will definitely eat here during our next visit to Lovell.More

We stopped in a few times during our short trip to Fryeburg for odds and ends and had breakfast there before we left town (biscuits and sausage gravy). It was a perfect little country store, complete with great, friendly service.

At the epicenter of Lovell, Maine lies Rosie's. We were visiting friends across the street and I got up around 6 AM and decided to go over for a cup of coffee. I sat at the counter with a newspaper sipping my hot brew and...with the slightest prodding from the waitress I ordered some bacon and eggs. You can generally find any food staples you may need from frozen peas to hot dogs. The staff is friendly, the patrons generally very convivial. While reading the paper an older, bearded gentleman with a pony tail sat down a few stools away from me and announced (I think to me) that his woman kicked him out last night. He would look my way occasionally as he recounted the events of the night and that he was not sure what he was going to do. I grunted in sympathy, wished him luck and headed to the register to pay my bill. One more thing; if you see someone famous in Rosie's please restrain yourself and let them eat their meal in peace.More

Rosie's is a mainstay in Lovell. We've been here for breakfasts and lunches a number of times over the years. Portions are good to generous and the food is always good.

Rosie's is the place the whole town goes to when they want a quick burger or a pizza. It is also a little grocery store to take home the milk bread or beer and a bottle of wine! Everyone knows everyone at Rosie's!

We were staying in Sweden for a week and had tried many local restaurants. We had not had any great meals. We wandered over to Rosie's for breakfast one day and were thrilled. Everything is homemade on site. We had amazing waffles for breakfast that...were loaded with wild blueberries. We got lunch to go one day and had fabulous sandwiches. We tried the fried chicken dinner on night and was amazed by the quality for such a low price. We always sat at the counter and enjoyed talking with the waitresses, although there is traditional seating in the back of the store as well. Rosie's is a true gem in the area!More

Rosie's tends to be quite crowded at breakfast time, but worth the wait. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and loaded with fruit. The pure maple syrup put the finishing touch or taste on them.
