For a quick lunch with a great view of the water this is the place. Good value for the money, great for families.

Just finished eating a yummy Lobstah roll here and at $16.95, it was a bit pricy but had a decent amount of good lobster without a lot of mayo. My husband had fried clam roll that was really good! Onion rings could use a little salt but they were definitly homemade and delicious! Sadly it was rainy & a bit... More

This lobster shack is right on the habor so yiu can sit outside right on the water. The lobster was rxcellent . The fries were good. They give you corn bread and corn on the cob with the lobster dinner. The fried oysters have bit too much batter. i prefer a lighter batter. The calm chowder was not the best.... More

WAY WAY WAY too expensive. Prices are astronomically higher than any other seafood joint in my experience and it isn't anything special. The service is never that great either. I strongly recommend basically any other seafood place other than this one.

Best takeout or casual lobster / fried seafood dining in area. Try the fresh corn and corn bread, but the lobster is to die for... Nice indoor and especially casual outdoor seating. Beer selection nice, as is ice cream.

Food was good. Price reasonable. Only complaint, to much food on your plate. Located by the bay, can eat in or tables outside or can take it to go

Seemed like the perfect stop & I think maybe expected a little more. Portions were small & prices were high. Nice viewing picnic area - food was nothing special. Don't think I would go again.

If you want an easy fried seafood dinner or a boiled lobster McLoughlins is a good choice. Sit at picnic tables to eat while the children play on the rocks.

We stumbled across this waterside seafood option on its 2015 season closing day and were not impressed. Soups were good, sandwiches merely hit the spot. Service staff was overwhelmed with a big crowd and seen ready for a winter respite. If you're hungry stop by, otherwise keep driving.

I have been dining here for years. The owner is very hard working at keeping quality, quantity and variety to his customers. Recently, offering new menu items. I love the charming atmosphere, with the wonderful views of Penobscot Bay. Every year, this establishment opens for a charity blueberry pancake breakfast on a Saturday morning in August. Truly a place that... More
