My daughter and I stopped in for lunch before a visit to Bates College. She found it on Yelp while we were driving. The service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant is in a beautifully converted mill. My daughter had a lobster roll and I had a cuban sandwich. We both loved our choices. I have to say, this was... More

Fish Bones is a must if you are visiting the Lewiston area. The food is amazing. It is not run-of-the-mill, although it is in an old mill. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. The presentation is great. My husband had the Brussel Sprout salad and raved about it. The menu selection has many choices including fish and steak. Our server... More

Over priced, food not great, what's the hype? It seems as though there are restaurants popping up that try to be high end or classy and they are not. This food was average to okay. I wouldn't return for the price. We went at lunchtime - nothing special.

Met friends for wine at Fishbones. The light menu offering were so tempting we ordered several.. dumplings, smoked salmon, oysters, and a cheese plate that adequately satisfied all of us... of course the cost of the wine exceeded the food but it was a great evening

We use to go there at least once a month. Everyone is very friendly. They keep changing there menu's. We found it wasn't consistent in the preparation. We use to like to dress up and go for New Year's eve.

I am sorry to hear we seemed different from your previous visit which as I understand had to do with a changing menu. If you had told me that the fish plates (we live on the coast) at a restaurant in central Maine, would be superb, I might not have believed you. I do now. We usually eat haddock right off the dock and this place's haddock special Bis as good as that. The land & sea dish is nicely prepared as is... More

Just got back to my hotel from Fish Bones. I'm visiting from Maryland, working with my sales rep that covers Maine. I hopped on Trip Advisor and found Fish Bones American Grille. She and I wanted something healthy and fish sounded like a good option. Our waitress, Alexis, was super sweet and she recommended we try the Haddock. It was... More
