One of the best baked stuffed lobster dinners that I have ever had....Here's why: a 2 lb lobster with lobster meat, 4 scallops, 4 shrimp all stuffed within cracker crumbs, claws still attached and 3 clams casino with grilled ear of corn. What a meal ! Management checking with all patrons to make sure everyone was pleased with their meal.... More

Robert's is a fun nautical themed restaurant. The clams on the half shell were cold and succulent . There was an equally impressive choice of oysters( if you purchase the very soft lucky shuck shirt and wear it you get a free oyster.). The clam chowder and lobster roll combo is a basically upscale version of soup and sandwich. The... More

We stopped here for a late lunch, the place was jammed so we figured it had to be good. My wife and I both ordered the lobster cobb and neither of us could finish it (except the lobster), it's a very large salad and everything was very fresh and assembled well. The dressing was a lemon vinagrette and complimented the... More

Been here several times and never had to wait. Food is outstanding. I highly recommend the crab and avocado melt, but my husband swears the house smoked turkey with blueberry chutney is the worlds greatest sandwich. My daughter ordered a very expensive lobster mac n cheese, but I wasn't impressed. Anyways, skip the lines around Kittery and enjoy a civilized... More

Have to be honest - we were quite sad to learn that the Quarterdeck had closed as we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and good everyday food - nothing fancy & the fact that it was a bit hokey did not hurt either. The Quarterdeck was a great place to go on a rainy day after shopping. We had moved out... More

First time visit and really enjoyed their food. Came for lunch with the whole family. Ordered haddock reuben and fish tasted fresh and it was a good size portion. Thanks to tripadvisor app. I had found it as #1 restaurant prior to arriving Kittery.

My wife and I went for dinner at Robert's and had a great meal. Lobster roll with clam chowder after a baker's dozen of delicious oysters from the raw bar. Our table server Rachael Z was a delight. We will see you again when in the area. I highly recommend Robert's!

We ate here last year and could not wait to stop again this year. The lobster rolls are fantastic. They make their own lobster roll bread and they come toasted to perfection. You can get a regular sized lobster roll or a larger one. (with mayo or with butter). I had the regular size (24.00) with coleslaw which was delicious.... More

Nice but not pretentious. The food is excellent and well presented. Our server had a great personality and was right on time with everything. And the prices were very reasonable for what we receive.

When we opened Robert’s in June 2006, we had a certain idea: we could do a version of the big Maine seafood restaurant that was rooted in the tradition of these places, but also inspired by up-to-date food trends like local farm-to-table ingredients and more creative recipes. Owner Michael Landgarten had long been a fan, patron, and student of these large all-purpose (seafood-centric but not exclusively seafood) Maine restaurants.Traditionally, coastal Maine seafood restaurants focus on a large, seafood-centered menu featuring steamed lobster, baked and fried seafood, steaks, burgers, and have a bar, and usually some outside dining. We liked this notion for Robert’s, but wanted it to be a “now” experience – about the best of Maine food. In the Midcoast region, the farm-to-table movement had started long before there was that name for it. Back-to-the landers there started restaurants that sourced directly from local fisherman and farmers. We’re still searching for that ideal blend of traditional Maine, farm-to-table, and what’s best and real in new cuisine. Mostly though, we are guided by our purpose – to make guests happy!
