Walking distance to all Kittery outlets. Good bar to hang out if you're waiting for a shopper. Good is very good but portions are small for the high price. Good selection of draft beer and cocktails.

We booked a table ahead of time using the online OpenTable option. They weren't really busy anyway, but I didn't want to chance a wait with the kids after shopping all day. We were seated upstairs overlooking a tidal marsh, and the tide was going out while we were there, which was interesting for the kids to watch. The waitress was... More

As a non-fish-crustacean-eating New Englander I am not the typical Roberts regular. I am, however, a lucky local--close enough to pop in whenever...yum. I speak salad, veg., and the occasional chicken tender craving. If you harbor the same swimming desires then you are in luck. Fine salads, the best onion rings, beer battered chicken fingers, and truly divine--Brussel sprouts (when... More

They are known for their lobster roll and they deliver. Big chunks of lobster with either hot butter or, the classic, with mayo. If you order the large version ($30), you don't have to choose --- you can have 1/2 with butter and 1/2 with mayo. And they toast the roll! It comes with either fries or cole slaw. We... More

This place has really great food it's not the cheapest however the quality is always great and the service is good. It's a wonderful place for lunch or dinner my highlight is the beer dinners. I'm a huge fan of the beer dinners they are really great the chef goes above and beyond with house made bacon.

Pulled off the road to maybe find a quick bite to eat near the outlet mall... this is located right next to the mall so we decided to go for it and have a taste of Maine since we were in Maine and could get McDonald's or Burger King at home anytime. Comfy/Casual atmosphere/dress code... ask to sit outside, the... More

We stopped here for dinner and was not disappointed! We set up reservations online, but got here early. They weren't too busy yet so we were able to get a table without a wait. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the lobster dinner, my mother had the salmon. They food was very flavorful. Great service and food.... More

Toddler parents out for a couples romantic weekend without the kids. We don't get out often but when we do we want some where special that we can still have a conversation while we eat. This establishment was recommended to us by a local BnB and it was fabulous! Great food, beer, and service. I would greatly recommend it for... More

This is now our spot for lunch or dinner coming or going from Maine. Located on Route 1, first exit off 95 in Maine, it's easy to get to. Parking is eased by the free valet parking. This is a lovely moderate priced popular restaurant. Of course seafood is the standout choice, although they have a large variety of non... More

Description
When we opened Robert’s in June 2006, we had a certain idea: we could do a version of the big Maine seafood restaurant that was rooted in the tradition of these places, but also inspired by up-to-date food trends like local farm-to-table ingredients and more creative recipes. Owner Michael Landgarten had long been a fan, patron, and student of these large all-purpose (seafood-centric but not exclusively seafood) Maine restaurants.Traditionally, coastal Maine seafood restaurants focus on a large, seafood-centered menu featuring steamed lobster, baked and fried seafood, steaks, burgers, and have a bar, and usually some outside dining. We liked this notion for Robert’s, but wanted it to be a “now” experience – about the best of Maine food. In the Midcoast region, the farm-to-table movement had started long before there was that name for it. Back-to-the landers there started restaurants that sourced directly from local fisherman and farmers. We’re still searching for that ideal blend of traditional Maine, farm-to-table, and what’s best and real in new cuisine. Mostly though, we are guided by our purpose – to make guests happy!
