Bob's is a great place for a meal or a snack. Bob's is rarely without a line for its popular fare. The portiobps are generous and children's menu is available. Located in the heart of the outlet shopping it's a perfect place to stop off for a quick lunch with outdoor seating. I'm not a big fries food eater but... More

This was a great place to stop for lunch on our way up to Rockport. The chowder was delicious and so was my husband's belly clam roll. A little disappointed in the crab cake. Prices were good for seafood.

We almost didn't stop with how crazy busy it was. But we took that as a sign of yummy food- and so glad we did. Line moves surprisingly fast and the food was delicious and fresh! Has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Well worth the stop. We had various fish items - so fresh!!

We drive over from Boston just for the lobster roll, it's that good! And never disappoints. This time I tried it with sweet potato fries, and was totally won over. Can't wait to go back!

Family ate at Bob's Clam Hut on our way into Maine and as the last stop out. Seafood doesn't get any fresher and more perfectly fried.

Bob's clam Hut is a favorite summer stop. They do the same thing year in and year out and they do it really well with fast friendly service and quality food. You may pay some tourist prices but you can't go wrong at Bob's clam Hut.

Excellent food - best known from Guy Fiorie's Diners on food channel. The lobster roll was excellent as was the haddock sandwich. Quick service - eat on the picnic tables by the side.

Bob's is one of the more famous clam shacks in Maine, and it always lives up to the great expectations regular customers have. The menu has fish, shrimp, clams, lobster, fries, etc., as you would expect, and also some non-seafood items for kids or others who might be with you who don't like seafood. The menu is long, mostly fried,... More

Totally lived up to all the hype. Well run, clean, enthusiastic, and heavenly! Had the basket with clams, scallops, and haddock. Chose Lillian's version, and it was perfect!

Established in 1956 on busy Route One long before that stretch became bustling and busy with Kittery's outlet shops, Bob’s was the locals' golden fried standard. Now Bob's is a favorite spot for locals and travelers alike. We hear it from our guests: no trip to Maine is complete without a meal at Bob's Clam Hut.Bob's is committed to serving traditional Maine fried seafood with straightforward simplicity. Our clams are always fresh, which means daily deliveries--we're too small to store more than that anyway. We use "specials," which are clams hand-selected for consistent size and quality. We follow the original Bob's recipes, including the famous tartar sauce. Customer favorites include Bob's New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Stew, the traditional Bob's fried clams, and the Lillian fried clams. The volume of fryolator oil we go through amazes our suppliers--our oil cleanliness standards are second to none. Our staff uses the same cook-to-order system that Bob and his family developed way back when the Clam Hut first opened.Open for lunch and dinner year round from 11:00.
