We stopped in here for lunch on our way back home and lucky for us we showed up right around 11:30 as the place had a line by 11:45. Maybe one of the best waitresses we've ever had. She was so outstanding and made sure my 2 year olds grilled cheese came out right away. My wife and I split some things such as the turkey sandwich which was stellar and the fries, holy moly, damn good! The pile of fries was as big as my head and the 3 dipping sauces were a great touch!

With the current pandemic, we are trying to support local restaurants that are open and providing takeout meals. We are long time customers of When Pigs Fly Pizzeria. I ordered the Caesar salad and the Mama Lils Pizza. I had the pizza prepared parbaked, to finish when we were back home. I received a text when our order was ready for pickup, and pickup was seamless. They provided temperature and time to complete cooking the pizza back home. We had the salad while our pizza was cooking. Everything was great and filling. We are both looking forward to our next meals there.

The pizza I’d say was pretty good my family and I enjoyed it. However the pizza was expensive and the pizza wasn’t large so I would say that the pizza isn’t worth the price saying I could get a much larger pizza that would taste a lot better for the same price or pizza. But there outdoor seating is very nice and spread out which is a great for keeping you safe.

Our tastebuds had a lively experience with the delicious food! My husband and I split an arugula salad, and mushroom pizza. Now on the surface this seems like ordinary fare- but it was anything but! Our salad was a more than generous amount of arugula, strawberries, blueberries, and candies pecans. The homemade dressing was truffle aioli based. So fresh and delicious! Our pizza was large as well(we took enough home for lunch today). This pizza was without red sauce and had generous amounts of mushrooms, fontina, balsamic grilled onions on a delicious thin crust. My only criticism is the pie part of the crust was a bit undercooked and could not support the toppings, but only effected texture not flavor! Service was friendly and quick - oh and they also have a huge selection of locally crafted beer. Great place for casual yet fresh and fare I say healthy eats!

When people said it was good, we doubted them. I love When Pigs Fly bread , so we gave it a try. It took about 7 minutes from placing our order to hot pizza on the table. The crust was absolutely amazing and I'd never had ricotta on top before. We had red pizza with meatballs and I could have eaten it all by myself. The high ceiling makes for a loud restaurant and the pizza chef kept yelping for take out or table service orders. Sort of felt like someone was stepping on his foot. Would certainly recommend the pizza to everyone.

We ordered the Margherita pizza, which was served piping hot and quickly. It's really tasty, but we were just surprised the crust wasn't crisper. Also got Wulf Kitty cider with the pizza, which was so good. As soon as you are seated, your server brings ice water in a mason jar. Right next door is a bakery, and I highly recommend the rye bread and the blueberry bread.

I buy take-out pizza here that is par-cooked and that I re-heat at home. It's wonderful when they get my order right. The problem I've encountered is sloppy work by the young women who swan around the entrance. One time they left off the small box of arugula and parmesan cheese that comes with the particular pizza I order. This afternoon I opened the pizza box before leaving and found it was a completely different pizza than what I ordered. So I had to return 30 minutes later. Did anyone notice when I returned? No. I was ignored when I picked up the box (with cheese and arugula added). Any apology for their screw up? NO.

Very disappointed. Met some coworkers for lunacy, they were a bit late . I did address this with the hostess, re should I wait or be seated. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive she gave us our bill before we were finished . She never asked if we wanted anything else. My friend had her daughter and when we asked if they had ice cream for her. She had an attitude. She brought the ice cream and quickly snatched the bill.
The food was fine, I have had many visits here but it will be quite awhile before I return.
If she was pissed because we held up the table, well that is not right.
We are all healthcare workers and we needed it.

We stopped at When Pigs Fly when we were in the area. All the young people who worked there had pleasant smiles on their faces. It was so inviting. After seeing the menu we didn't even consider ordering pizza. My husband had haddock on toasted sour dough bread and a garden salad. I ordered tuna on toasted sour dough made with pickles, cucumber, and spinach, and a side garden salad. The sandwhich filling was plentiful, and salad ingredients were fresh.

We stopped in for a bite around lunch time, I had the turkey BLT. It was on their own cranberry bread. It was absolutely delicious. OMG! the sandwich could feed two! I took half home. He had the Meatball Parmesan, also delicious. I liked mine better. We also shared the fries that came 3 different dipping sauces also delicious. The food was quick and the waitress was very helpful. However, I did find it a little pricey, $17. for just a sandwich. Hmm? Definitely a return trip is needed. The only problem was we ate first then went to their bread store next door. I didn't buy as many loafs because I was stuffed from lunch.

Stopped for a quick bite. Drinks and sandwich. Great spin on a turkey BLT, served on cranberry bread with a hint of sage. Service was fun and drinks were good. Nice beer selection, a little different from most places.

Was referred by our hotel.. will never return. Prices were ridiculous. $12 cocktails in a small glass .. draft beer .. yea ok if you say so. We cannot say the food .. what little we had wasn’t good because it was. The price for what we got was down right unbelievable. The chicken parm sliders .. was one slider cut in half .. $13.95.. really .. 6 shrimp on a skewer although tasty $17??

We stopped for lunch. I had the Meatball Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($15). It was good, but not great. Maybe the hot peppers were a taste too many.... The bread was kind of lost in the toasting and the cheese flavor was lost. Doesn't make me want to rush back.
Outdoor dinning. Good service. Lots of parking. Still love their bread and bakery.

We had the wings and the cheesy garlic bread. They were great and honestly some of the best wings we’ve had flavor wise. They weren’t as crispy as we like but they were good. Bread was excellent. Our daughter loved her Mac n cheese
We ordered pizza to share.
I need to mention we are pizza snobs. We like our cheese done and our crust crispy. Our favorite pizza is New Haven style which I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. That said..:
The pizza left a lot to be desired. They have wood fired ovens and we asked for it well done. The bottom was cooked with a nice char but the pizza overall was too floppy and not done enough for us. Pepperoni was barely cooked. Cheese was not well done and in fact was barely melted. Some of you may prefer it this way. Flavor wise it was ok. It had a basil pesto on top and we should have asked them to hold it.

Went here for lunch for the first time. The weather was cold and rainy, so sitting outside was not an option. The service was great! We ordered the spicy sausage and mushroom pizza. The dough was amazingly soft and light, not overcooked or burnt! It could have used more cheese, but it was very tasty! The waitress was awesome, she was fun and bubbly.
