We had breakfast here before hitting the road after a quick stop in Kingfield. We were really impressed with the value. The food was good, the other patrons were friendly. They had books for the kids to read while we waited for our food. The staff were all so nice.

Stumbled on this place with hungry bellys one morning after getting gas. Man. Were we happy! Their homemade bread is to. die. for. So good! The whole breakfast was made to order and everything was delectable, the even had homemade jams to choose from. YUM!

Quirky place - no table service and you clear your dirty dishes (like college dorm). But hey, breakfast for 2 for $10.00 I can clear a lot of dishes. The breakfast special for $5, with coffee, is great. I would like to see the person who could eat 3 of their pancakes. They sell them individually and 2 is a... More

Good price, good size food portion, easy location, clean and roomy. The decor is great for a back woods country experience. The huge single cut Pine Slab tables are great. Cash no plastic for payment. We had spent the night in Skowhegan on route through Maine to Toronto. We had an early morning start and planned to do some driving... More

This place is quintessential Maine. No fuss, no frills, just heaps of good food at great prices. Order at the walk-up counter inside, then sit at basic tables surrounded by quirky posters and pictures and other funny historical signs. We ate breakfast here ---- just your standard bacon and eggs and home fries and toast. The food was good and... More

Stopped in this restaurant for a bite to eat as we were heading from Quebec to Bar Harbor, ME. Good home cooking. We each ordered a burger and a drink. It came with homestyle potato chips. Hubby had the seafood chowder which was out of this world. It had hugh chunks of fish in a creamy broth. The burgers were... More

Basically walk in order at the counter, than go find a table or counter to claim your space for Breakfast or Lunch. They will call out your name when your order is ready. We were there for Breakfast, the service was quick and friendly. The food was very good and plenty of it.

We've been to this restaurant many times. Always a treat for breakfast! It's always busy too. They take your order then call out your name when it's ready while you wait at a table. There's a great selection of breakfast items. Well worth a stop if you're in the area!
