It's what you expect of a ski town bar. Wood dance floors, local entertainment, ring toss, great signs, terrific selection of beer too. Oh wait the BBQ is smoked out back and was delicious. Thanks for the experience.

Three of us came for dinner and drinks. Friendly staff, funky, vintage ski-themed decor. There is ground floor and downstairs dining. We were seated downstairs. I ordered the Chipotle Blue Cheese Burger ($13- 8oz. Angus burger topped with crumbled blue cheese and chipotle pepper ranch sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion and pickles and served with french fries). Huge, delicious and... More

I had the perfect Medium Rare Prime Rib at the rack. Melissa is the perfect server. She anticipated my every need and made sure that my steak was cooked the way I wanted it. My glass was always filled with tasty red wine. And for desert i had a nice glass of Gran Mariner. It was the perfect end.

We ate there as a family and found the food to be good and the daring selection was also good. It is located right on the access road to Sugarloaf so it is very convenient. We were a little late for the trivia night so did not take paper in that but those that did seemed to have a great... More

I'd been thinking about a nice slab of Prime Rib all day and was quite aware that the Rack at Sugarloaf has such a thing. OMG as I sliced into it I could just tell that I was in for the treat that my tastebuds had been craving. It was tender and perfect. It was tasty, even delicious with a... More

The ribs were fantastic and the garlic and smoked seafood plate was good. The kids had pizza and play area is good for entertaining high energy kids.

We have eaten at The Rack twice this month on two separate trips to Carrabassett Valley beyond the multiple times before. They continue to have all the features I enjoy: 1. Awesome food It's a restaurant after all. Family style dining in early October and had ribs (amazing, great quality and sauce), pizza with brisket (delicious to both me and... More

The Rack, one of many good dining choices on the mountain during ski season, is also a great dinner option if you're visiting Sugarloaf in the summer. Their outdoor fire pit, lawn games, and antique gondola chair greet you at the entrance. The pub food is dependable and the draft beer options are always excellent.

No reservations were needed. I bet this gets really crowded and hopping in the winter. BBQ was great and good beer too.

Quirky restaurant with lots of ambiance and delicious food. The prices are very reasonable, the food is fresh, the wait staff is attentive and friendly and there is so much to discover here. Set in a gorgeous location, the restau features trivia night (how fun!), games, pool table, interesting art work, and even bacce ball. Not to be missed.
