I wish to thank you and all your staff for a delightful Mother’s Day lunch at Pier 77. It’s my Mother’s favorite place. We have been coming for years. She beat COVID this winter at 94. And she was anxious for a “normal” lunch. So...Pier 77 was the perfect place. We lost our Dad 6 years ago at 90, who also loved your restaurant. In fact we reserved the room upstairs for his 80th birthday. So you see, you aren’t just a restaurant, you give us the opportunity to relive memories and old times while still creating new ones. My mom is legally blind so it is very difficult for her to see anything, including the food on her plate. So I asked for a table near a window. Not so she could enjoy the view, (although we did) but so she could see the food on her plate more easily. And the hostess sat us at what seems to have been the same exact table over the many years. And she did so graciously! And I’d like to thank you for that as well. We aren’t sure she’ll make it for another Mother’s Day, but she had this one thanks to you! Her 95th birthday is in July, so God willing, we will bring her back there to celebrate! I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for your kindness and helpfulness and for making our day special! God Bless!More

The atmosphere for outdoor dining is lovely here, but that's about it. Three of us ordered clam chowder, and I think out of all 3 bowls we may have found 2 clams, total. After a long wait, our luke-warm bowls of indistinguishable mush arrived. There...were lumps of what appeared to be cornstarch or some other unpleasant thickening agent. Our server was pleasant and apologetic. The manager agreed to take the chowders off of our bill. If you want traditional New England clam chowder, this is not the place. The burgers being delivered to other tables looked good, but we were really craving chowder.More

I've eaten here a dozen times over the last 10 years, always a great meal. Friday night was such a disappointment. We ordered the mixed grill, a piece of salmon, one scallop and three small shrimp, two tablespoons or rice. The salmon was overcooked, I...asked for rare. The scallop was raw and singed on the outside. We would have liked more rice. Covid rules were all followed and we felt very comfortable with the spacing. I'm not sure what happened and I'm sorry to give a bad report, I always give a good review of this restaurant...perhaps new chef? Staff were great. So sad, the three of us were very disappointed.More

My partner had the fish and chips and I had the macadamia apple chicken salad sandwich with homemade chips. We ate indoors where the dining room has large windows to enjoy the view of the harbor. There is outdoor dining as well. Our waiter was...polite and attentive. The Halloween decorations were awesome. It was an enjoyable experience.More

This was absolutely the worst dining experience of my life. We ordered three crab melts, 2 lobster rolls, and a fish and chips, among other drinks and appetizers. The only entree that was even slightly up to standard was their fish and chips. The lobster...roll had barely any lobster. The crab melt you can see for yourself in the pictures below should have made the resturant ashamed to serve to customers. We showed the manager, Celeste, who said "too bad, you ordered it." We even tried to exchange them out for other menu items so we would still pay for everyones entree and she refused. I went to talk to her privately and explained to her the issue, reasonably, and she screamed at me, took a phone call in the middle of our conversation and if that wasn't enough, I was insulted by a male waiter while I was headed back to my seat. When my mother tried to pay, the manager called the police because she became flustered that customers were immedeitly leaving due to her own unprofessional demeanor. She claimed my mother refused to pay which was absolutely false...she even had my mothers credit card in her possession. The police officer actually apologized to us and told us this wasn't the first time this business had these sorts of "issues." My favorite part- if you look at the reviews on this and other sites, and a patron leaves a sugar coated polite but negative review, the owner's written response is "You should be ashamed of yourself," or "You're wrong, the food is very good." I think he's banking on the fact that his resturants get one-time tourist visitors, and so they can serve them bread with cold cheese and no crab and get away charging $30 per "crab melt." I give this place 3 months before they go out of business.More

I won't elaborate, as it has all been said prior, just trust me. There is no social distancing in the dining room, drinks small and over priced, menus (their regular, not disposable) not cleaned, no circulating air in the dining room, food just ok, grit...in my 4 scallops that were $29.More

Great night out for our 10th Anniversary! We sat inside (for the first time out during Covid) and i felt very safe. We were spread very far from the next table. Abbie was our server, and took great care of us. I started with the...Calamari, which was amazing! My asked for a small salad to start, which they kindly accommodated. Her main course was the Spaghetti Bolognese, which she absolutely loved. I have the Lobster roll, which was also amazing! What topped the night off was the deserts! I had the homemade blueberry pie (could be the best that I’ve ever had) and my wife had the Raspberry White Chocolate cheese cake, which was equally great!More

I would give this 1.5 stars. Overall it was a huge disappointment. Bad service, overpriced food - not worth it. Horrible potatoes and cold steak. The only good things were the drinks and salad.

My daughter and I were seated outside. The food was good, not great. Service was good at first and then the waiter disappeared and eventually I had to go inside and find him to get service. I told him my salsy sangria was not good...and I would like another drink or a refund. He said neither was an option because I drank out of it and that was the restaurant's policy. How else would you taste it? I drank about 5% of it. Not going there again.More

Waitstaff was fine, food was very average. Stop if you are in the area, but don't go out of your way for a meal
