Alisson's Restaurant had the best lobster bisque, had so much lobster in it that we could barley finish our lobster roll, which was very good. We were a group of 6 and all of us had the same reaction, two of us had the combination soup and small lobster roll (which was the normal size for most restaurants), one had... More

Good food, reasonable price, friendly staff, good service. Good place for family meal. Hamburgers and lobster rolls are best bets for lunch. chowder is among the best in town. Nice bar, local hangout.

Very disappointing. Last year we came here 3 times and loved it. This year we went and noticed that there had been renovations. The bar and restaurant are all in one room and very loud. The food was just not the same quality. The service was average. The restaurant appears to be catering to a Karoke crowd and barroom atmosphere.... More

Talk about a unique menu! We wanted a uninque taste of Maine and the lobster pizza was out of this world--buttery,huge pieces of lobster on a white sauce with bits of bacon just made your mouth water! They also had lobster Mac & cheese for something different as well. I wish they could ship to Iowa!

The lobster roll was worth the trip--sweet, juicy, fresh, just enough mayo, and a buttered toasted roll. A real treat, as was the clam chowder. Sometimes a wait, even at midweek. But they do take advance reservations through an app. There are pleasant places to wait outside I took they text you that your table is ready. And it's well... More

I was not prepared to like this place, but it turned out to be a really solid family restaurant. We had delicious, huge salads and burgers and my daughter loved her kids cheese pizza. Everything was freshly prepared and the service was very friendly. I used an app to check in and reserve a table ahead of time (I recommend... More

All of the food we ordered at Alisson's was good, but the chowder was the best. We even purchased a chowder kit to try to make it at home, but we have not tried yet.

We came in here for lunch on a WED in August and it was very crowded. I think we waited about 20-30 minutes to get seated. The food was good, but not great. The price was quite reasonable for what we got. I got a sampler of local beers which was quite nice and very reasonably priced. Clam Chowder and... More

Parking was awful but we expected that. There was a half hour wait when we got there which was fine however the hostess takes your phone # and texts/calls you when your table is ready. The hostess wrote our # down wrong after telling her it twice. So when we didn't get a call 45 minutes later, I checked to... More

We had an awesome time at this restaurant- service was great (Devin) thanks for your patience! Clam chowder runs more expensive for a smaller portion than other places but was hot and well worth the $.
