Renting nearby and wanted something quick. The Margaritas and the nachos were outstanding. Thinking it’s more of a drink and app place because none of us were thrilled with the entrees. The shrimp fajitas came with 4 little shrimp. The steak fajita came with plenty of steak but no seasoning or flavor. The fajitas also had no cheese. The Mexican street tacos were also bland. Service was great and fun music atmosphere. Would go back for a drink and an appetizer.

We LOVE Mexican food and this restaurant has some of the best food in Maine! They have a nice happy hour with discount tacos and a house Margaretta. We tried 2 different tacos: Carne Asada and El Pastor. Both excellent but the Al Pastor was the best. Their chips are delicious. We ended the night splitting a chicken chimichanga which was delicious, large, filling, and complete with beans and rice. The waitress was able to recommend a new (to me) tequila which was quite enjoyable. The drink "painkiller" is an excellent choice if you like heavy drinks. We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I were so happy with our dinner from Pedros! We were visiting for a few days from CT and we had a hankering for some Mexican food. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. We ordered a small order of the nachos and it was PLENTY for the two of us! Our entrees were both delicious! The prices at Pedros are absolutely fair for the amount of food you are getting. We both went home with leftovers! For us, being from CT and also frequent visitors to NYC, the drink prices were also fair. My fiancé got an Old Fashioned with Makers and he was very happy with it... the bartender definitely doesn’t skimp on their pours. The churros we had for desert were delicious and a prefect sweet treat to close out our great meal. Thanks Pedro’s for a great meal! When we come back to Kennebunk we’ll definitely be making a stop at our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Food was really yummy. I got the Mexican street tacos, which were really good. My husband got the chicken chimichanga and he inhaled it, so I’d say he loved it lol. We also got chips with salsa and guac. My only real complaint is it was 8 dollars for sub par guac and the waitress said “you guys wanna start off with chips, salsa, and guacamole?” We said yes thinking it was like a complimentary chips and salsa kind of thing. But either way, it was good. Next time We would just skip the guac. We were so hungry when we got there that I forgot to take pictures.

Overpriced and terrible quality and meager quantity. I ordered a $15.00 salad and added $8.00 chicken and $5.00 avocado slices; they did not have some of the ingredients listed on the menu and the portions were tiny. I told waitress I couldn’t see the Manchego cheese and she brought me a side of cheese. Chicken pieces were cut for a baby to eat and couldn’t have been more than couple of ounces. I left hungry and mad. Service also was bad , I had to go to the register to pay and leave.

The menu is limited and does not include many authentic Mexican dishes but what they offer is tasty and uses fresh local ingredients. My favorite is the veggie burrito with a glass of red sangria! The chips are plentiful...the salsa is not.

Pedro's has lots of outdoor dining space and are using it well during COVID-19. It's a busy and popular restaurant (for good reason), so you may have to wait a bit for a table, like we did. They know how to make a skinny margarita. My only disappointment was it's short, but it's tasty. The nachos with chicken tinga are layered and layered with deliciousness. A large was plenty for our table of 4. Our friends get them every visit, and we would too. Lobster tacos were a special the night we were there. They were good, but the ingredients overpowered the lobster, so I'd skip them next time. Festive atmosphere at a fun restaurant with good Mexican food and drinks.

The food is tasteless. No flavor what-so-ever. The guacamole, the chips, the rice and the beans all like eating cardboard. My sangria did not taste like wine and fruit as it should but some saccharine strawberry syrup. No real food and drink to be found here.

My wife and I shared a large order of nachos. It was served in a hot cast iron pan. They were a nice chip and lots of good cheese and fixings. We ended up not needing to order anything else. We had several very good house margaritas during happy hour. Nicely decorated inside. Very good service. We dined inside and the tables were well spaced. All good.

We were hesitant to try this place after reading some of the more recent reviews but we are glad we did. The atmosphere is great and the staff was really friendly. We went on a busy summer Saturday night so our wait was about 40 minutes. As soon as we were sat we were greeted by our sever who took our drink order. I got a pain killer and my husband got a blueberry lemonade. The drinks were amazing so we ordered a second round. For dinner I ordered the chicken fajitas and my husband ordered the enchiladas. There was little to no seasoning on the chicken for the fajitas which was odd. It was served with a good helping of guacamole but no sour cream or cheese. Once assembled, the fajitas had a good overall flavor. Would have preferred black beans over pinto beans though. My husband said he didn’t care for the red sauce on the enchiladas but everything else was fine. His was served with refried beans and he would have preferred an alternative but he wasn’t asked and he didn’t ask. The portion size was good so no room for dessert. I would go back just for the drinks alone. Maybe some nachos as we saw several plates of those being served and they looked amazing. I don’t think you’ll be wowed at this place but I felt it was above average.

This restaurant used to be good. So much has unnecessary changed for the worst. The margaritas now arrive glowing neon green and are not drinkable. The margaritas used to be made with fresh ingredients and extremely good. The salsa is now flavorless and cream based. It’s terrible!!! The guacamole is flavorless as well. We are locals who will not return. This town has turned into a place for unknowing tourists.

This popular restaurant and bar was not our first, second or even third choice for dinner on a Monday night, our only night in Kennebunk this year, but it was open, within easy walking distance from our hotel and offered immediate seating. My wife chose enchiladas verde while I mistakenly cast my appetite in the direction of chicken fajitas. Though the food was deemed less than authentic, mediocre and overpriced, it did serve to quench our appetites. A return visit will not be happening.

Watch the "Switch and Bait" procedure here during happy hour. Told different prices, told different drinks were happy hour prices, and charged a higher, outrageous amount for our drinks. We were misinformed and treated like dirt. Kennebunk in the off season especially, deserves Kennebunk prices....not New York City prices. This place needs to get its act together and be more pleasant to customers. Won't experience their "Switch and Bait" again.

Absolutely horrid service. I was a return "guest." We stopped here every summer. On our way back from Bar Harbor and NESCAC college tours, we resumed our vacation in Kennebunkport and thought we'd go to one of favorite places. Realizing summer and COVId times, I called in the afternoon at 2:30 to make a reservation to be told that reservations weren't necessary. When we arrived, we were turned away because the waitlist booked them for the rest of the evening. The hostess gave me the long song and dance about how busy they are. This is terrible customer service in a town with lots of options.

I've never had anything but wonderful food at Pedro's in Kennebunkport! I'm a vegetarian and it is so hard to find GOOD Vegetarian Mexican food - Pedro's does not disappoint. I've even gone over for the day just for Pedro's. Love, love, love their vegetarian burrito - and their Margaritas don't disappoint either. Going next week and I cannot wait!
