Homemade corned beef hash is delectable and gluten-free bread is available for those customers who cannot partake of their delicious homemade bread. Their omelettes are huge and delicious.

It was a lovely early afternoon at Ruby Slippers, so we sat on the deck. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and baked mac and cheese--very good! Hubby had cinnamon raisin bread French toast, requesting real maple syrup (up charge of $2). When our waitress brought our food, she apologized that they were out of maple syrup--too late, he already had... More

Sat outside on a summer day. The service was incredibly slow, waited at least an hour for food. Server acted like my meal was crazy when she dropped it on the table (lettuce wrapped chicken and veggies, weird, I know but it's on the menu and was pretty tasty.) Still, my biggest complaint was the smoking. The porch was clearly... More

This small town cafe offers a delicious menu at reasonable prices. My fami,y eats there often, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sunday morning breakfast buffet is great too!

Perched on the shores on Highland Lake, Ruby Slippers is owned and operated by a local family who truly cares about you and your experience! Love the food, the atmosphere, and the down home friendliness! Homemade is the menu watchword. The homemade potato chips are diet-busters, but delicious!Fantastic local choice for business, family, or friends!

Enjoyed by many locals, this is a little gem of a place. Friendly staff and good home cookin'! Thursday nights are busy with $5.00 burgers and .50 cent wings. Delish!

This had become one of our favorite lunch places, but last time we were in pretty much convinced us not to visit again. The food came out hot and looking good, but the quality and taste was greatly lacking. If it had been only 1 out of all the orders, could have understood, but everyone at the table was very... More
