Perched on the shores on Highland Lake, Ruby Slippers is owned and operated by a local family who truly cares about you and your experience! Love the food, the atmosphere, and the down home friendliness! Homemade is the menu watchword. The homemade potato chips are diet-busters, but delicious!Fantastic local choice for business, family, or friends!

Enjoyed by many locals, this is a little gem of a place. Friendly staff and good home cookin'! Thursday nights are busy with $5.00 burgers and .50 cent wings. Delish!

This had become one of our favorite lunch places, but last time we were in pretty much convinced us not to visit again. The food came out hot and looking good, but the quality and taste was greatly lacking. If it had been only 1 out of all the orders, could have understood, but everyone at the table was very... More

this was a real find. I am a big Rueben fan and rank them everywhere I go. This is the first to get a 10! Home made bread and home made thousand island dressing!

The menu is surprisingly varied for a small restaurant, you can even have breakfast for lunch. The food is good, eggs benny served on hash is very good. The wait staff is always pleasant and the prices are reasonable.

I am proud to say this is the most exceptional, friendliest restaurant I have ever visited. Their food is fantastic and the staff is even better. If anyone is displeased with Ruby's they have not talked to the ownership. They will go out of their way to please you and never want you to leave unhappy. Just great down home... More

We stopped in here one day on a hunch. Great service and the food reminded me of what my Mom made. This is #1 in our book!!!

The food was obviously prepared on site not a prepackaged frozen product. The staff was friendly and courteous. The price was very reasonable for the product we received.
