We visited this restaurant while traveling through. The menu is large and I believe children could find something they like on it. I had a salad with steak on it and it was on a large bed of iceberg lettuce . Not very satisfying. Everyone else at the table had seafood and that was all very good.

I wish that I lived closer so I could go often to Ruth and Wimpys. There is a huge fiberglass lobster outside which is fun. The atmosphere is basic, local and kitschy. There is a large menu with great, fresh seafood and homemade deserts. I like the lazy lobster where the lobster is already cracked for you. The food is... More

I had the shrimp linguine and there were probably 24 shrimp in it. Excellent food, awesome strip chowder!

We decided to stop here because the parking lot was always full....no wonder. Great service, big selection, good prices, great food, what else could you ask for?

We stopped here because we were on our way back to Schoodic Woods campground from and long but wonderful day on Mount Desert Island. Not much to choose from on the way and this place was still open. Plus the fun lobster and boat drew us in. There is lots to choose from on the menu and the wait staff... More

Ran across this place on our way back to Lubec and glad we did. The lobster was delicious and we received a decent amount for the price. Fried haddock was tasty as well but the skinny onion rings rocked! I didn't care for the blueberry bread pudding but the blueberry pie was great. This place was extremely busy but the... More

We loved it enough to eat both of our dinners there! Lobster rolls and the Lobster chowder were fantastic. We also tried the fried pickles and the buffalo dip, both were excellent.

Stopped in for lunch as didn't find much else open where we had been (Winter Harbor). We both had the haddock "basket" (came on a plate); 1 decent sized piece of haddock, lightly breaded, fries and cole slaw. Haddock was good, very well cooked and moist. Very fresh. Cole slaw was good sized serving, but not huge (we would have... More

Excellent little place we found by asking a local for a good reasonably priced place to eat. Quaint place were the locals eat. Great food, good prices. Huge variety of food choices and large selection of beers.

Amanda was our server and was very friendly and helpful. Since we were in the middle of lobster territory it was required fare...... The lobster roll!
