Always wonderful!

The Crocker House Inn is consistently 4+stars. The setting is lovely, cozy, and romantic. The service is excellent. And, the food is delicious. We go there when family is visiting as well as when we just want a romantic night out.

The food was amazing . We dined , chatted and made lasting memories. Timmy Burch was our server. He went out of his way to make our experience one of which we will never forget.

I met about 50 other employees of a major seafood company to celebrate the holidays. It was a magnificent buffet. We first had a large variety of appetizers. I especially liked the oysters on the half shell, pate mousse truffee, shrimp cocktail and cooked scallops wrapped in bacon. When it came time for main entrees, there was a very large... More

We were a party of ten people, celebrating a friend's birthday. Everyone ordered different meals. And pretty much everyone needed their meal to be "customized," as in "Please no crab meat on the salmon" or "I want my steak rare, but not THAT rare." Each meal was absolute perfection. Had he come into the room, the chef would have received... More

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a wonderful way to start the day, thank you! I'll be sure the chef sees your review; am sure he will appreciate your very kind words. So happy that you were equally pleased with your service in the dining room. Thank you for choosing to hold the birthday celebration at the Inn and thank you again... More

The night I went the restaurant was mildly busy, not crowded but there were quite a few tables filled. There was one young lady who was the Hostess, the Cocktail Waitress, the Bartender, the Waitress and was busing tables! She was absolutely incredible!! She managed to do, literally, everything, except cook and we have no proof she didn't do that... More

Thank you for your delightful review! We are fortunate to have a seasoned staff who can manage the front of the House with grace. The off season is tricky for scheduling; some nights are quite busy while others are rather slow. We're very pleased that you returned and that you enjoyed your dinner. Thank you again. More

We live an hour and a half away from The Crocker House. We love to go there for dinner especially in the Fall when the tourist season isn't crazed in Maine. Richard has owned this property for (gulp) 35 yrs. but we're selfish and hope he never retires. What a fantastic job he's done with this charming, special place. We've... More

Rented a house nearby and with a late arrival we didn't want to travel far for dinner. Glad we didn't! The food was fresh and really delicious. The setting is a quintessential old Maine Inn.The Bluberry Margarita was excellent with tiny native blueberries. The wine list was adequate and reasonably priced. The garden salad dressing was so tasty. I ordered... More

Long established restaurant with excellent reputation among locals, and well-deserved. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Menu was somewhat limited, but everything we tried in two trips was excellent. The Pate Mousse appetizer was first class. Location somewhat remote, but worth the trip.

Thank you for your lovely review! We're delighted the restaurant lived up to its reputation. True, the menu is limited (and changes very little) but that translates into a consistent dining experience. The Inn is a bit remote, especially since you're driving from Bangor. Sometime you might want to consider the off-season Get Away package for two, which includes: dinner, room... More

With so many great restaurants in the area, we are flattered that you've chosen the Crocker House to celebrate your special occasions. And you're right, 5 miles off of US Rte. 1 and down the Point Road is a bit of a trek, but as you said, the drive is beautiful ( drivers just have to keep an eye out... More
