We used to love this place now food, service, and cleanliness are awful. Wings are not fresh or good, sushi is not the quality it was even last year, sushi is also bland and warm. Noodle servings are small and mostly just peppers rather than noodles. Lots of cobwebs and a few bugs crawling around fish tank. We were regulars,... More

The restaurant is beautifully situated on the Kennebec River. My mother and I both raved about the coconut soup- Tom Pho I believe. Our entrees were tasty as well. The portions are generous and we both went home with doggy bags. We will return the next time we are in Maine!

My review title says most of what you need to know about this place. There was a view of the river that was nice & they had some live music, a couple of pieces & a singer. Ambiance - just okay. Not much to rave about.

Cafe de Bangkok is outstanding. Great entrees, fresh custom made sushi, bubble tea, wine and cocktails. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant. Everything from the specially folded napkins to check presentation is delightful. You won't be disappointed, oh contraire 😀

We visit the Cafe de Bangkok on occasion, mainly for lunch. We love the lunch boxes. They feature an entree, small salad, appetizer, rice and sectioned orange. The food is always fresh and hot. The Thai ice tea is silky and sweet. The restaurant is located on the Kennebec River, which provides nice views. I've never had a bad meal... More

This is my go to local place for sushi. The Thai food is also delicious. Plenty of seating overlooking the Kennebec. It is a really great place for a relaxing lunch with friends.

I have eaten here countless times...lunch and dinner. Love the salads and the curry dishes. Pad Thai is a family favorite. The level of spice is your choice and the portions are enough for two or to take some home. They offer brown and white rice which is always a plus. Tables line the huge windows offering a beautiful, seamless... More

It's too bad this food made me feel ill because the atmosphere was good. Service was fine. I wanted to like it but when you leave a restaurant with a belly ache it's not a good thing.

I love the food here. I had the Bangkok Garden and it had so many veggies cooked just right. My husband likes the pad thai
