A beautifully restored inn with a genteel and serene atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating. Room was very comfortable with attention to details.

9/24 - 9/27/2015 Beautiful Inn on a hill overlooking Moosehead Lake. We stayed in Cottage 6 and it was awesome. We had the most comfortable bed of our trip and many amenities to enjoy. We had fresh water refilled everyday, we had a coffee maker, mini fridge, corner fireplace, ample storage, a heated towel bar and our own deck. It... More

This place is beautiful, very relaxed (too much so from a service standpoint) breath taking views of Moosehead Lake, great food and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by dressing up and going to dinner at the Inn, however you must make reservations and I strongly recommend doing them in as far in... More

Food was good, our server was friendly but couldn't speak English. I ordered a chocolate baileys martini the owner came over to ask me about it I said yes bailys and vodka but he never put any Godiva into it so I choked it down cause it was expensive. We ordered an appetizer to share and she brought us each... More

We actually did not stay at the Inn overnight as we were staying in a friend's camp in nearby Sandy Bay. But, we were looking for something a little dressier than a bar or sandwich place to celebrate our anniversary. We found the right place! The Inn is situated up a small hill at the edge of downtown Greenville with... More

We ate here two nights and enjoyed fabulous meals both times. Clearly the kitchen knows what to do; wait staff very attentive and charming; distinctive inn with caring owners. Make time for dinner here even if you are not staying at the inn (hopefully you ARE staying there - an outstanding property!

We spent our anniversary evening at the Greenville Inn. We could not be more pleased. We were delighted with the location, accommodations, food and welcoming personality of the hosts. Both dinners were interesting and outstanding. The wine list was very good as well. The atmosphere was romantic but not too stuffy. Highly recommended.

I took some relative out that have fed me a lot when I visit the area. The Inn has a new chef this year, and I'm not impressed. I do think everyone was happy with the salads we started with. The entrees are small and unmemorable. Most of us ordered a strawberry-rhubarb crisp, which was some kind-of deconstructed thing with... More

During our dinner here, the service was good and our server Anna was polite and efficent. The menu was varied and quite surprising in the Maine woods setting Our table of five had Perogies, Portuguese sausage, spare ribs, Bollebasis, swordfish, NY strip, blueberry bread, and a couple of nice desserts. They were well done considering the variety of foods and... More

My wife and I ate two dinners here, being guests at the Greenville Inn. We both ordered only the tomato and basil soup, and the autumnal salad with wine as neither of us were hungry following a long drive of driving. Although the soup was essentially a cream of tomato soup, it was light with a delightful blend of herbs.... More
